Highlanders 17 - Cheetahs 12

The Highlanders secured their second win of the Super 14 season today beating the Cheetahs 17-12 in Bloemfontein.

In wet conditions the Highlanders scored a late try through Richard Kahui to sink the home side.

Just minutes earlier the Cheetahs had taken the lead courtesy of a Meyer Bosman penalty which looked to seal victory.

The slippery ground forced scrappy play which eliminated any chance of a four try bonus point for either team.

All of the Cheetahs points came from the boot of Bosman who kicked four penalties.

The Highlanders led 7-3 at halftime after Roy Kinikinilau scored a try right on halftime.

Next week the Highlanders head to Cape Town to take on Stormers the while the Cheetahs host the unbeaten Hurricanes.
