SPIKE DUDLEY TO MAKE COMBAT ZONE WRESTING DEBUT ON SEPTEMBER 8th
    Link to story: http://www.uowforums.com/showthread.php?t=109265

THE CZW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE DEFENDED AGAINST...

CZW Promoter Hon. Maven T. Bentley, esq. contacted CZW News Update today to explain that the CZW World Tag Team Championship would indeed be defended at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show on September 8th, live from South Philadelphia's historic New Alhambra Arena. "The Black Jesus" Sabian, the co-holder of said championship, was cleared to compete, and now must jump right back into the fire and defend the titles that he and the reigning CZW World Champion Ruckus captured over 7 months ago from The Original Blackout. Bentley then said that the #1 Contenders would be finally given their chance at BLKOUT.

And then Bentley hung up the phone.

Who is Bentley talking about? He certainly could be talking about Team Andrew - Drew Gulak & Andy Sumner. This popular duo has not only gotten back on a winning streak as of late, but defeated Ruckus & Sabian in a non-title contest back at Tournament of Death VI. Could he also be referring to Derek Frazier & Niles Young? Let's not forget, it was Frazier & Young who stole BLKOUT's championships, laid them out, and saw Niles pin Ruckus in the center of the ring the following month. And what about The Iron Saints- Vito & Sal Thomaselli? Although their CZW experience has been limited to great showings at "Restore the Order" and "Best of the Best 7", the Thomasellis DID defeat Team AnDrew in May...so if Team Andrew can beat BLKOUT, why can't the Thomasellis? Or is Maven playing more of his games and assembling a new team to take on BLKOUT? There's really no telling what he's capable of, since he holds the company in his back pocket...or wherever he keeps his wallet.

Who ARE the #1 Contenders? Who's facing BLKOUT at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show?!?

TOBY KLEIN FACES DJ HYDE AT CHRI$ CA$H TRIBUTE SHOW AND "MR. INSANITY" PROMISES A SPECIAL STIPULATION!
    Aug 30, 2007 • posted by Ed O'Mac
The reigning CZW Iron Man Champion "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein, along with the leader of "Cult Fiction", Billy Graham are coming to Philadelphia on September 8th to see Toby defend his Iron Man Champioship against Maven Bentley's Personal Wrecking Ball - "The Lariat" DJ Hyde.

The fans hate DJ Hyde, the man who has bullied his way through the CZW roster, but has also shown a tremendous tolerance for pain - hanging tough in brutal matches with the likes of Toby, Necro Butcher, Mana, Steve Mack, Danny Havoc, and Drake Younger. Hyde's association with Maven Bentley has further pissed off CZW fans and wrestlers alike.

Klein and Graham promise a classic stipulation will return to Philadelphia on September 8th, something that may put DJ Hyde down once and for all. Hyde may have the rematch for the title that he has wanted, but to get it, he's going to have to deal with whatever his opponent chooses. What type of stipulation could Toby be looking for?

THE "ONE HIT WONDER" MEETS "DIEHARD" AT CHRI$ CA$H MEMORIAL SHOW!
    Aug 30, 2007 • posted by Ed O'Mac
With both coming off close losses in fantastic matches at CZW "Dishonorable Conduct", CZW stars "The One Hit Wonder" Cloudy and "Diehard" Dustin Lee will go one-on-one in a rather interesting bout on September 8th at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show. Cloudy has been wrestling exclusively in the Junior Heavyweight Division as of late, and his inability to capture the championship from Scotty Vortekz, while frustrating, has brought out a more aggressive side in him. He'll definitely need it, as "Diehard", coming off a brutal "Unlucky 13 Staple Gun Match" with Danny Havoc, is looking to make a statement and not lose back-to-back appearences in CZW's Philadelphia home. Two CZW stars that each have their following will go one-on-one on September 8th as we pay tribute to the late Chri$ Ca$h in South Philly!

    94.1FM at CZW

WYSP 94.1 PERSONALITY HEADED TO CHRI$ CA$H MEMORIAL SHOW

CZW News Update has learned that Alex Balcerski of the 94.1 FM WYSP Scotty & Alex Show will be appearing at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show this Saturday at The New Alhambra Arena. Alex, whose show airs from 7-11 PM on weekdays, is known for being a knowledgeable and opinionated mind when it comes to professional wrestling, and reportedly has a special interest in the upcoming CZW event. So exactly what is this special interest this outspoken individual has for Saturday's event? CZW isn't your father's TV wrestling...why pick the Combat Zone to get something off your chest? We'll have to see just how Mr. Balcerski handles the wolves den that is the CZW locker room...but word has it that he isn't showing up alone! Interesting

    HOMICIDE ACCEPTS CHALLENGE FROM JOKER!
    Sep 06, 2007 • posted by Ed O'Mac
Following an explosive battle between BLKOUT and The Rottweilers at August's "Dishonorable Conduct", Best of the Best 7 Champion Joker challenged Homicide to a one-on-one match-up. Homicide lashed out at BLKOUT and the CZW fans, telling them if they wanted to see Homicide, to catch him on the latest TNA Pay-Per-View event, pissing off everyone in Philadelphia that night.

Curiously, Homicide has contacted Combat Zone Wrestling to announce he has accepted Joker's challenge! However, what a coincidence...Homicide waited until Joker was already signed in an anticipated contest with TOD Champ Drake Younger at the Chri$ Ca$h Show. Joker, who saw through this right away, wants the CZW fans to know that he WILL be facing Homicide one on one! Since Joker's already got his hands full with Drake this Saturday...and Homicide is headed to Delaware looking for his fight next Saturday...and Joker was free at press time...one might think that some teeth might be lost in Delaware...in a match that's even not in the UVU tournament! Will Joker make this official on Saturday?
