Didier Drogba has joined Chelsea's injury list after new X-rays reports showed he has a broken rib.

According to The Sun, Drogba was thought to be suffering from minor bruising from intial scans. Drogba was injured in an aerial clash with Manchester United defender Jonny Evans last weekend.

Now, a new X-ray report has indicated otherwise and Drogba could now be out for three weeks.

The Ivory Coast international reported for international duty but will return on Monday for treatment.

His injury will add to Carlo Ancelotti's woes as he has already lost three other first team regulars Ashley Cole, Jose Bosingwa and Frank Lampard to long-term injuries.

Chelsea skipper John Terry is also a doubt after he suffered a knocked during training with England on Friday.

The Blues will be hosting Wolves next weekend and they will then face FC Porto in Europe. At the end of this month, the Blues will visit Arsenal in a top-of-the-table clash.
