Trevor Bayne improbably wins Daytona 500 in second career race!

DAYTONA BEACH -- In a race that saw a 74 lead changes, 22 different leaders and 16 cautions -- all records -- an unlikely winner survived it all.

Trevor Bayne, making just his second career Sprint Cup Series start, held off a late surge from Carl Edwards to win the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday.

Bayne, who turned 20 on Saturday, is the youngest Daytona 500 winner ever and the second-youngest driver to win a Sprint Cup series race.

A five-car wreck with four laps to go took Ryan Newman, Clint Bowyer, Denny Hamlin and Regan Smith out of contention.

The accident caused a green-white checker finish.

Then, on the first lap of the restart, Dale Earnhardt Jr. got caught up in a four-car crash that caused another green-white checker.

Happy 20TH B-Day Trevor....that had to be the best Daytona 500 I've watched in a long time
