The welterweight-tournament final is set for "The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. U.K."

Following this week's new episode of the show, also dubbed "TUF: Smashes," Brad Scott (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Robert Whittaker (9-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have emerged as finalists.

They now meet at next week's UFC on FX 6 event, which takes place Dec. 15 at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia. The event's main card airs live on FX (on Dec. 14 in the U.S. due to the time difference) following prelims on FUEL TV.

Scott vs. Whittaker will be part of the main card, as well will the lightweight-tourney final, which will be determined next week.

Scott, who represented Team U.K. on the international edition of the UFC's long-running reality series, advanced to the final with tourney wins over Team Australia fighters Xavier Lucas and Benny Alloway, both via decision. Prior to joining the show, the 23-year-old was riding a six-fight win streak with six stoppages. His most recent pro bout came in March, when he knocked out Mok Rahman at Cage Warriors Fight Night 4.

Whittaker, meanwhile, knocked out Team U.K.'s Luke Newman and Team Australia's Xavier Lucas to make the tourney final. Prior to joining the show, the 21-year-old had fought primarily for the Australian-based CFC organization. Like Scott, all of Whittaker's pro wins have come via stoppage. However, in his most recent pro appearance, he dropped a decision to Jesse Juarez (18-8) at CFC 21.

The latest UFC on FX 6 card now includes:

Ross Pearson vs. George Sotiropoulos
Hector Lombard vs. Rousimar Palhares
Brad Scott vs. Robert Whittaker - "TUF" welterweight-tourney final
Seth Baczynski vs. Mike Pierce
Hacran Dias vs. Chad Mendes
Joey Beltran vs. Igor Pokrajac
Eddie Mendez vs. Nick Penner
