During Smackdown broadcast, Stephanie McMahon announced WWE Divas champion Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella for the 9/21 Night of Champions PPV.

During a backstage segment on Smackdown, Goldust and Stardust mention that they will face the Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles. This was also mentioned during Jimmy Uso's match against Heath Slater on the show.

At the start of Main Event, it was announced that the following matches have been added to Night of Champions:

Seth Rollins versus Roman Reigns

Randy Orton versus Chris Jericho.


I knew the match of Rollins vs Reigns was possible because they fought at a House Show but I really believed that Reigns would take on Orton with a stipulation.
