PRE-SHOW

Fans are shown filing into the American Airlines Center as Renee Young welcomes us to the WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff. She introduces the panelists: Booker T, Alex Riley & Paul Heyman. Renee says Heyman is tonight’s special guest. Heyman confirms that Brock Lesnar is watching tonight’s show with interest. Renee hypes the value of WWE Network. Heyman says he is here to promote WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, not “$9.99.” Renee says there is a double main event tonight. Heyman says that Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose will do battle to decide who the greatest former member of The Shield is, while John Cena & Randy Orton face off to decide who will fall to Brock Lesnar next. Renee then introduces a promo package for Ambrose vs. Rollins. The promo package highlights Rollins’ betrayal of The Shield, as well as the spot in which Rollins curb stomped Ambrose’s head through cinder blocks. After that, it features clips of Ambrose’s return and his antics on Raw over the past few weeks.

Back at the panel, Renee asks the panelists what the key to victory in the match between Rollins & Ambrose is. Riley says he has 4 keys to victory for Rollins:

1) Use aerial offense
2) Use the environment
3) Keep the match high-tempo4) Agitate Ambrose

Renee asks who the cell structure benefits. Booker says that tonight, both men will have a love/hate relationship with the cell. Heyman says everyone is giving Ambrose the advantage because he “belongs in a cell anyways,” but Rollins has a history of strategy in planning for dangerous matches, since he won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Riley says that Rollins has been running from Ambrose for months, and there’s no way out for him tonight. Renee then sends it to Tom Phillips in the Social Media Lounge.

Tom says to use #HIAC to discuss the show on Twitter and previews some tweets from the WWE Universe.

Back at the panel, Renee introduces a promo package for Cena vs. Orton. The promo package highlights great sports rivalries in and out of the wrestling business. The package posits Cena and Orton as having started at the same time, but with Orton having been motivated by “sinister and selfish” desires. Cena, on the other hand has been working tirelessly to get where he is. Back at the panel, Renee asks what is really on the line tonight. Booker T says that, in addition to the No. 1 Contender spot, bragging rights are on the line. Booker has always been a Randy Orton guy, but John Cena will never say die. Alex Riley says Cena has more on the line tonight, because he knows how important it is to him to be known as the greatest of all time. He knows that Cena feels that he can defeat Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that this match can be understood as a “winner’s nightmare,” as the winner will exit Hell and then go seven rungs lower, stepping into the ring with Brock Lesnar. He says their final moment of victory will be tonight, because Brock Lesnar will not relinquish the championship.

Renee then switches gears to promote the upcoming Mizdow TV segment. A clip from last week’s Raw is shown, in which The Miz has Damien Mizdow work the match in his place. Riley says that Sheamus is 0-2 against Miz and Mizdow, and that has to rattle Sheamus. Booker thinks that Sheamus still has what it takes to retain the United States Championship. Riley says that he knows that the Miz is smart and crafty. He’ll know how to use Mizdow tonight. With that, it’s time for Mizdow TV to begin.

Mizdow TV

The Miz’s music plays as The Miz and Damien Mizdow make their way to the ring in unison. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & JBL welcome us to the Kickoff from ringside. Miz and Mizdow both take a seat in the ring. Mizdow welcomes the crowd to Mizdow TV. The Miz says that he is allowing his stunt double to interview him prior to his championship match out of the kindness of his own heart. Mizdow says to stand and show respect to the inaugural guest of Mizdow TV, but before that, he says that this is, without a hint of irony or sarcasm, the greatest moment of his career. With that said, he formally welcomes The Miz to the show. Mizdow asks where to begin, and Mizdow interrupts, saying he can ask his strategy against Sheamus tonight. Miz says that defeating Sheamus has become second nature, since he’s done it so many times. So his strategy is to just “be me.” He apologizes to the crowd, as tonight may feel like a rerun, but luckily for them, “it’s starring me.” Mizdow notes that he was technically the one to pin Sheamus on Raw, making him the first ever stunt double to do so. Miz, however, gave him the strength and courage to do that, so Miz is really who beat Sheamus on Raw. When Miz talks, Mizdow tries to mouth whatever he says. Mizdow says that The Miz was the one who headlined WrestleMania and he was the one to find crossover success. Additionally, he is the next and best United States Champion. Mizdow says, on another note, that from the bottom of his heart, he’s the best friend he’s ever had. Miz says he’s touched and he truly appreciates that, and he’s generous enough to give them back. Miz says that Damien is a damn good stunt double. They both seem to be getting emotional as Miz says he’s truly proud to call him his friend. They hug, but Sheamus soon interrupts on the Tron. Sheamus says that once they’re done hugging it out, Mizdow should get down on his knees and kiss his arse goodbye, because Sheamus is going to retain tonight. Sheamus compares their match to a movie, and he’s doing to show a trailer right now. Just like a trailer, he’s going to give away the best part. Sheamus takes out the camera with a Brogue Kick. Miz and Mizdow seethe in the ring as Sheamus’ music plays.

A commercial for Hell in a Cell airs.

Back at the panel, Renee welcomes us back. She hypes the Tag Team Championship match between Gold & Stardust and The Usos. Heyman says that tonight, the champions will be on the run, as The Usos have momentum. Riley says he loves The Usos and thinks they’re the purest tag team on the roster today, but Gold & Stardust have the experience edge. Booker says that Gold & Stardust will hold on to those titles by hook or by crook. Booker says that he and his brother didn’t care how they retained the title, as long as they did, and he thinks Gold & Stardust have the same mentality.

Renee then moves the topic to Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella. A replay of Nikki’s promo from Smackdown airs. Renee reminds us of the stipulation: the loser must be the winner’s personal assistant for a month. Booker says that this match will have the “shucky ducky quack quack” moment of the night. Heyman asks what that phrase means. Heyman pulls out his phone and says that #ShuckyDuckyQuackQuack is trending worldwide. Renee says that this rivalry goes all the way back to Payback when Brie Bella quit. A replay from SummerSlam airs, in which Nikki betrayed Brie, allowing Stephanie McMahon to get the win. Riley says that these women have known each other since birth, so there will be a lot of emotion in tonight’s match. Heyman says that he’s an only child, so he doesn’t understand sibling rivalry.

Next up to discuss is Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Booker says Cesaro has the intestinal fortitude to hang with Ziggler in the late rounds of the match. Riley says that this is arguably the most prestigious championship in the company, and he knows how important it is to Ziggler. He thinks this could be the 2014 match of the year. Heyman says this is sports entertainment at its finest.

Renee then brings up Rusev vs. Big Show.

Mark Henry vs. Bo Dallas

Bo cut a promo on his way to the ring. Bo said he's the new World's Strongest Man because he beat Henry four times. Bo said he's embarrassed that the city shares his last name, so he is changing his name for one night to Bo Washington. Cole explained the joke for non-NFL fans. Henry attacked Dallas when the bell sounded and finished him off quickly with the World's Strongest Slam.

Mark Henry defeated Bo Dallas in 0:35.

Bo crawls up the ramp, grabs a mic and says that he wasn’t ready. He says Mark is a cheater, and cheaters never win. In the record book of life, Bo’s the winner. He’s 5-0 against Mark Henry, because he Bolieves. Henry picks up Bo and throws him against the barricade. He shouts “That’s what I do!” as we go to commercial.

Back at the panel, Renee says that the Divas Championship will be on the line, as AJ Lee takes on Paige. She sends it to Byron Saxton, who is backstage with Alicia Fox and Paige. Paige says that AJ ripped her heart out, but Alicia picked up the pieces and took care of her in her darkest times. She says she loves Alicia. Tonight, she’s going to steal back her best friend, the Divas Championship. Alicia says “Love you!” into the mic and they walk off. Alicia comes back and slaps Byron.

The panel reminds the viewers that the show will continue on WWE Network as she introduces a “by the numbers” package.

WWE Hell in a Cell Opener:

The show opens with a video package highlighting the Hell in the Cell match, with a decent amount of screen time given to all four men co-headlining the show tonight.

The pyro hits, and Michael Cole welcomes us to the show. They throw things to the ring where Lillian Garcia introduces Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship 2-out-of-3 falls match. Ziggler comes out wearing the title backwards, before sliding it around to the front, and making his way to the ring.

Cesaro is out next, not getting much of a reaction on his way down the aisle.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro

The bell rings and both men begin circling each other. Ziggler tries to take Cesaro down, and the two wrestle on the mat before fighting back up to their feet. Cesaro backs Ziggler into the ropes and the ref breaks things up for a quick staredown. Cesaro shoulders Ziggler, but Ziggler drops down behind Cesaro. The two continue to jockey for positioning, grappling with each other. Cesaro clamps Ziggler in a side headlock, with Ziggler laying down on the canvas.

Ziggler makes it to his feet and pushes Cesaro off, but falls to a shoulderblock for a quick one count. Cesaro goes back to the headlock, leaning back and stretching Ziggler. Dolph fights up to his feet again, pushing Cesaro off, and he tries for a headlock, but Cesaro blocks. Ziggler is able to backslide Cesaro for two, then the two trade a series of roll ups, with neither getting three. Ziggler hits a quick splash in the corner, and avoids a pop up uppercut, but Cesaro traps Ziggler’s legs. Ziggler rolls Cesaro up, and Cesaro kicks out, hands Ziggler up on the top rope, and grabs his legs for a big swing! Cesaro goes for the pin, but only gets two. Ziggler rolls up Cesaro and gets a three count.

Winner of the first fall: Dolph Ziggler

Cesaro hits a quick senton and pounds on Ziggler, but the ref pulls him away for a rest period.

Cesaro hits a running European uppercut in the corner, and he goes for another pin, but only gets two. Cesaro picks Ziggler up to his feet and slams him back down to the mat. Cesaro climbs up to the middle rope, and walks toward the middle of the ring, but when he drops an elbow, Ziggler moves. Ziggler goes for something with Cesaro’s arm, but Cesaro just punches him in the side of the face and drops him to the mat. Cesaro traps Ziggler in a crazy submission wrapping Ziggler’s arm around his own face. Ziggler is able to fight up to his feet, and out of the hold, sending Cesaro crashing to the mat with a single arm DDT.

Cesaro stands first and hits a giant double stomp, pinning Ziggler for another two count. Cesaro double underhooks Ziggler up into a giant powerbomb, but he still can’t keep Ziggler down for three.

Cesaro picks Ziggler up while Ziggler’s on the apron, and he slams his head into the turnbuckle. Cesaro heads up to the middle rope and tries for a suplex back into the ring, but Ziggler grabs the arm and drops it over the top rope. Ziggler makes it back into the ring and does an awesome headscissors into a kind-of million dollar dream. Cesaro backs Ziggler into the ropes to break it up, and turns things around. Cesaro tries to suplex Ziggler, but Ziggler knees him in the top of the head to block. Ziggler transitions into what looks to be a kind-of kimura, and he won’t break. Cesaro climbs to the middle rope with Ziggler hanging on him, and he superplexes Ziggler to the mat. The ref begins to count both men. Cesaro crawls over to make the pin, but only gets two.

Cesaro waits for Ziggler to stand, and he charges him in the corner, but Ziggler moves and Cesaro’s shoulder connects with the ring post. Ziggler follows with the rocker dropper, and he pins Cesaro for two.

Cesaro makes it to his feet and Ziggler tries for the Zig Zag, but Cesaro shrugs him off. Cesaro shoulders Ziggler, and pops him up with an uppercut, but Ziggler won’t stay down for three. Cesaro elbows Ziggler in the face a couple of times before picking him up. Ziggler tries for a roll up, and after a series of near misses from both men, Cesaro scores with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Ziggler counters the neutralizer with a superkick and Zig Zag, pinning Cesaro for three.

Winner of the second fall, and the match, and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler

After a commercial, we come back to the arena where the announcers shill for the WWE Network for a little bit before re-capping the events of Monday Night Raw where the Hell in the Cell came into play and Randy Orton pinned Dean Ambrose. After the match, Rollins curb-stomped Orton.

The Authority is in the back talking, and Orton comes in to ask Hunter and Stephanie to make sure Rollins stays out of his business tonight. Stephanie tells Randy to take out his anger on Cena, and go on to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Orton said he thought everyone was on the same page, but then Rollins curb-stomped the wrong guy. Hunter said Orton was RKO’ing everyone on Monday, and Rollins was just getting him before Orton got Rollins. They’re a lot alike. But tonight, Orton needs to go out and finish John Cena, then take back what’s his, the WWE Championship. Orton says he’ll do it their way, but if they don’t deal with Rollins, Orton will.

Singles Match
Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella

Before the bell, it’s announced that the loser must be the winner’s personal assistant for 30 days, or quit the WWE.

The bell rings and we get a lock up, and Brie backs Nikki into the ropes. Nikki pulls Brie’s hair, then both grab the hair. Nikki slams Brie into the corner, but she backs up and charges into double boots from Brie. Brie rolls up Nikki for two, then backslides her into another two count, stands up, and drops her with a dropkick. Brie misses with an elbow in the corner, but connects with a back elbow when Nikki charges her. Brie mounts Nikki’s shoulders and hits a couple of right hands, but Nikki drops to her back and drops Brie to the mat. Nikki traps Brie’s arm and wrenches back on her neck, but Brie is able to fight out of it quickly. Nikki slams Brie’s face into her knee, but Brie won’t stay down for three.

Nikki stands on Brie’s hair, then pulls up on her arms. Nikki pulls Brie up to her feet, then pulls her up off of her feet by Brie’s hair. Brie is able to flip over Nikki, and she hits the X-factor, but Nikki kicks out at two. Brie ducks a clothesline and scores with a dropkick. Brie hits Nikki with a running knee to the face, then she backs up, and Nikki drops out to the floor. Brie hits the ropes, and dives through, wiping Nikki out in the process.

Brie rolls Nikki back into the ring and she heads to the top, hitting a giant missile dropkick, but Nikki still kicks out at two. Nikki sends Brie into the corner, and she’s able to catch her with a kick to the gut. Nikki hoists Brie up into a torture rack, then drops to her knees, but Brie kicks out at two!

Brie tries for the yes lock, clamping it on, but Nikki is able to make it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Nikki rocks Brie with a giant forearm to the face. Nikki picks Brie up, and hits her with a second rack attack, getting the three count.

Winner: Nikki Bella
Personal Assistant for the next 30 days: Brie Bella

Nikki mocks the yes chants as she stands over her sister.

We get a commercial for WWE 2K15.

Renee Young is standing by with the Expert panel, consisting of Booker T, Alex Riley, and Paul Heyman. Renee asks the panelists about the Bella’s match. Booker says it was the shucky-duckey quack quack of the night. Riley wants to talk about Cesaro and Ziggler, congratulating Ziggler and saying the match could be a Match of the Year. Heyman talks about Orton and Cena, saying whoever wins will be ‘fed’ to his client, the reigning champion of the world, Brock Lesnar. Renee throws it down to the ring for the WWE Tag Team Championship match.

The Uso’s are out first, and they get a nice pop out of the fans in attendance.

Gold and Stardust are out next, and it sounds like they get an ok reaction, but it’s hard to hear over the music, and the fans look like they’re sitting on their hands a little bit.

Gold and Stardust vs. The Usos

The bell rings, and Stardust kicks things off with Jimmy Uso. Stardust scores with a hip toss, but Jimmy pops up and slaps him across the face. Stardust tries for another hip toss, but Jimmy sends him to the mat and scores with a leg drop, getting a two count. Jey tags in and we get a bit of double team work before Jey Judo tosses Stardust to the mat. Goldust is able to tag in, and he runs into a couple of chops from Jey. Jey scores with a big right hand, then tags in Jimmy for a double back elbow/elbow drop combo.

Jimmy is backed into the enemy corner, and Stardust catches him leg, wrapping it around the ring post. Stardust pulls Jimmy from the ring and stomps away at him for a bit before bringing things back into the ring. Stardust punches and stomps Jimmy before tagging in his brother. Goldust scores with a couple of quick shots, and some big clubbing blows. Goldust traps Jimmy in a rear chin lock, but Jimmy is able to fight to his feet and drop Goldust’s chin down hard. Goldust comes back with a quick powerslam, and tags out to Stardust. Stardust comes in and puts Jimmy down with a front suplex before choking him with his knee. Stardust clamps Jimmy in a rear chin lock.

Stardust transitions things around, grabbing Uso’s arms and wrapping them around his neck. Jimmy is able to fight up and out of the hold, and he tosses Stardust off when Stardust tries for a bulldog. Jey tries to get the crowd behind his brother. Goldust tags in and hits Jimmy with a couple of rights, but Jimmy is able to come up with one of his own before back dropping Goldust out to the floor.

Jey tags in, and he dives over the top rope to the outside on top of Goldust. Jey gets back in the ring, and tosses Stardust out, diving to the outside on top of him. Jey brings Goldust back into the ring and hits a big cross body, pinning Goldust for two. Jey hits a side kick to Goldust’s gut, then drops him with a Samoan drop, but Goldust still won’t stay down for three. Jey hits a splash in the corner, and Goldust drops to a seated position. Jey runs into the corner with a huge hip thrust into Goldust’s face, but it’s still only good enough for a two count.

Jey tries for a superkick, but Goldust fights it off. Jey sends Stardust off the apron, but Goldust is able to send Jey to the mat hard, but Jey still kicks out at two. Goldust traps Jey in the corner, but when he tries for a back elbow out of the corner, Jey avoids it and scores with a big superkick. Jey goes for the pin, but only gets two.

Jey seats Goldust on the top turnbuckle, and he follows up after, but Goldust fights him off. Stardust is up on the other side and he’s cut off. The Uso’s have Gold and Stardust up in different corners, and they both execute big superplexes at the same time, dropping Gold and Stardust to the mat.

Jey heads to the top and hits a frog splash, but the pin is broken up by Stardust. Things break down. Jey goes for a Samoan drop, but Stardust catches Jey’s knee, and Goldust drops down and hits a big final cut neckbreaker for the three count.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: Gold and Stardust

Byron Saxton is standing ringside with a Breast cancer survivor from one of WWE’s ad campaigns. She’s standing alongside the CEO of Susan G. Komen. The CEO (didn’t catch her name) thanks the WWE, and says pink makes it possible, courage, conquer, cure. Saxton calls for a round of applause.

The Cell begins to lower, as the lights flash and Cole says two of the greatest warriors in WWE history will be entering for a chance to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar.

We get a video package that frames Cena Orton as a storied rivalry, alongside Ali/Frazier, Manning/Brady, Rock/Austin, Hart/Michaels, and other memorable feuds. It also covers a lot of ground that’s been covered before, in terms of each contender’s personal history.

Lillian Garcia announces this as a Hell in a Cell match where the winner will become the #1 Contender to face Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton is out first, and he makes his way out, looking like he’s psyching himself up and getting himself loose on his way to the ring.

Randy Orton is out first, and he makes his way out, looking like he’s psyching himself up and getting himself loose on his way to the ring.

John Cena is out next, and he gets a mixed reaction, as always, on his way out to the ring. Cena gives some of his merch to fans toward the back of the entrance area, which is a nice change of pace from throwing it into the first couple of rows. Cena hops into the ring, and poses for the fans while the door is closed and locked behind him.

The bell rings, and both men stare each other down before trading a couple of punches and kicks. Cena sends Orton into the corner, then runs right into a back elbow from Orton. Orton slams Cena’s head into the turnbuckle, and Cena rolls to the floor. Orton tries to slam Cena’s head into the ring steps, but Cena fights it off. Cena tries to slam Orton’s head into the cage wall, but Orton fights it off. Orton fights Cena around the ring and tries to slam his head into the cell wall, finally succeeding. Orton brings things back into the ring and goes for the pin, getting two.

Orton slides to the outside and goes under the ring, grabbing a chair. Cena catches Orton with a kick to the gut and a fisherman’s suplex. Cena grabs the chair, but Orton blocks it and hits Cena with a couple of head butts. Orton grabs the chair again and jabs it into Cena’s gut, then whacks Cena across the back. Orton goes for a pin, but he’s only able to get two.

Orton slams the chair into Cena’s gut again before wedging the chair in between the middle and top rope in the corner. Orton fights out of an attempted AA with a DDT, and he gets another two count. Cena rolls back out to the floor, and Orton follows. Orton grabs Cena and sends him head first into the ring steps, then grinds his face against the cell wall. Orton brings things back into the ring for another near fall. Orton picks Cena up and kicks him before hitting a big clothesline that puts Cena down for another two count.

Orton sends Cena into the corner hard, getting another near fall out of an Irish whip. Orton poses in the middle of the ring, holding his hands high, and he turns around into a clothesline from Cena that’s good for a two count. Orton knees Cena in the chest, then hits him with a series of clotheslines in the corner that’s good for another two count.

Orton stomps on Cena, and Cena rolls out to the floor. Orton follows Cena to the outside, and launches him into the cell wall. Orton picks Cena up and brings things back into the ring, getting another two count. Orton clamps on a rear chin lock, but Cena fights up to his feet quickly. Cena breaks the hold, but Orton kicks him in the gut. Cena hits a shoulder block, then another, then a belly to back suplex. Cena bends down and is kicked in the head by Orton. Orton hits a quick powerslam for a two count.

Cena rolls to the apron, and Orton tries for a suspension DDT, but Cena comes into the ring on his feet and backdrops Orton to the outside. Cena heads out to the floor and picks Orton up, running him into the cell wall a couple of times. Cena shoulders Orton, but Orton fights his way out of it with a series of elbows before picking Cena up and crotching him on the ring post. To add insult to injury, Orton drops Cena to the floor from the ring post with his signature across the back backbreaker. Orton sends Cena back into the ring, and goes for the pin, but he still can’t keep Cena down for three.

Cena rolls to the apron, and when he stands, Orton runs into Cena and launches him into the cell wall and out to the floor. RKO chants from the crowd. Orton picks Cena up and whips him into the cage wall, but Cena reverses it. Cena sends Orton from side to side, sending him into the wall again. Cena looks under the ring and finds a table, to the crowd’s delight. Cena slides the table into the ring and heads in after it.

Orton is still recovering on the outside as Cena sets up the table in the ring. When Cena makes his way to the apron, Orton is in and attacking. Cena shoulders Orton, but Orton flips the table over, drops down, and hits a dropkick to put Cena down for another two count. Orton sends Cena crashing head first into the chair Orton had set up in the corner earlier in the match, but Cena still won’t stay down. Orton props the table up in the corner and goes to work on Cena, stomping away, and driving the chair into his midsection.

Orton tries to whip Cena into the table, but Cena avoids it. Cena hits a shoulderblock, but then Orton counters a second shoulderblock with an RKO. Orton goes for the pin, but Cena kicks out at two.

Orton drives Cena into the table in the corner, and he pins Cena, but Orton still can’t keep him down for three.

Orton argues with the ref, then looks distressed, before he heads out to the floor. Orton takes apart the ring steps, bringing in the lower half of the steps.

Orton sets up the steps in the middle of the ring, then he drops down and waits for Cena to make it to his feet. Cena stands, and Orton tries for the RKO, but Cena counters, hitting a belly to back suplex and dropping Orton on the steps. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle, then he waits, when Orton stands, Cena tries for the AA again, but Orton drops down and hits Cena with a low blow. Orton pins Cena, but Cena still kicks out at two.

Orton continues to argue with the referee, then he turns his attention back to Cena. Orton backs away, and charges in, but he misses with the punt. Cena’s able to lock Orton in the STF, and Orton’s in the middle of the ring. Orton struggles, crawling toward the ropes with Cena on his back. Orton’s able to make it to the ropes, but it doesn’t force a break in Hell in a Cell. Orton continues to crawl toward the outside, and Cena’s hung up on the bottom rope, forced to break the hold. Orton heads to the floor, and Cena holds the steps over his head in the ring. He runs and launches them toward the floor, and Orton gets out of the way just in time. Cena heads to the floor, where Orton sends him head first into the ring post.

Orton sends Cena back into the ring, and he follows, yelling at Cena to get up. Cena pops up and hits the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton is still able to kick out at two, and Cena looks very sad. Cena picks Orton up and shoulders him, but Orton counters the AA into an RKO, and Orton pins Cena for another two count.

Cena pops back up, shoulders Orton and hits another AA, but Orton still won’t stay down for a three count.

Cena heads out to the floor and grabs another table, bringing it into the ring. Cena sets up the table in the middle of the ring, and he picks Orton up, laying him across the table. Cena heads to the top rope, but Orton is up and he cuts Cena off. Orton tries for an RKO out of the corner, but Cena pushes him off. Orton goes back up, and Cena shoulders him, hitting an AA through the table. Cena pins Orton and gets the three count.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena

Cena celebrates, and Paul Heyman is shown sitting at the all-star panel booth, staring Cena down. Cena makes his way to the back, getting one last pop from the fans before leaving the arena.

Big Show is shown warming up backstage. Mark Henry is there cheering him on. Show says he’s going to beat Rusev for his country, for Show, and for Henry. And then, he and Henry are going to have some barbecue.

The next match is for the United States Championship, and the challenger, Miz is out first. Of course he’s accompanied by Damien Mizdow.

We get a recap of Miz expressing his feelings for Mizdow earlier tonight, and Sheamus threatening Miz with a brogue kick.

Speaking of Sheamus, he’s out next, getting a little bit of love from the fans in attendance.

WWE United States Championship Match
Sheamus vs. The Miz

The bell rings and Sheamus charges in, missing Miz right off the bat. Miz scores with a couple of right hands, but Sheamus scores with a hip toss. Sheamus sends Miz to the apron and tries to wrap him up, but Miz fights him off. Miz gets back into the ring, and Sheamus puts him down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Miz kicks Sheamus’ knee, but Sheamus picks Miz up and puts him down crotch first on the top rope. Sheamus traps Miz and hits him with clubbing blows to the chest, and Mizdow imitates Miz the entire time. Miz falls out to the floor, and Sheamus is out after him. Sheamus ducks a right hand from Miz, and Miz hits Mizdow instead. Miz heads back into the ring, and he’s able to knock Sheamus back out to the floor.

Miz sends Sheamus back first into the ring apron before bringing things back into the ring. Miz kicks Sheamus in the face before ripping away at Sheamus’ face. Miz clamps on a rear chinlock, but Sheamus is able to fight out. Sheamus takes Miz down with a running shoulder to the gut in the corner and a running knee. Miz is able to backdrop Sheamus out to the floor, but when he leaps off the apron, Sheamus catches him and hits a rolling senton on the floor. Miz is back in the ring and Sheamus heads to the top, hitting a flying shoulder block that’s good for a two count.

Miz kicks Sheamus in the chest, then he’s shouldered by Sheamus. Miz fights out, but he’s taken down with a urunage backbreaker across Sheamus’ knee for another two count. Sheamus mocks Miz’s moneymaker, and Miz is able to score with a couple of kicks. Miz hits a reverse DDT, the neckbreaker to Sheamus for two. Miz hits Sheamus with a series of knees to the chest, then he slaps Sheamus’ head. Sheamus begins to fight back, but Miz drops him with a low DDT.

Miz tries for the SCF, but Sheamus fights it off. Sheamus tries for white noise, but Miz counters. Miz tries for the figure four, but Sheamus kicks him away, then stands and slams Miz to the mat. Mizdow is able to distract the ref, and that leads to Miz hitting the SCF, but Sheamus still won’t stay down for three.

Miz hits the corner clothesline, staying in the ropes and hitting repeated right hands. Miz heads to the top rope and leaps off, right into a brogue kick from Sheamus. Sheamus pins Miz, and gets the three count.

Winner and STILL WWE United States Champion: Sheamus

After the match, Mizdow is laid out in the ring next to Miz. Sheamus picks up Miz’s arm, and Mizdow copies everything, including shaking his arm. Sheamus picks up Miz and makes him do the YMCA dance, and of course Mizdown copies right along. Sheamus hits Miz with another brogue kick, and both Miz and Mizdow hit the canvas.

Brie is shown packing up a car. Nikki asks if Brie made her dinner reservations, then she asks if Brie made her a smoothie with the right ingredients. Nikki dumps the smoothie on Brie’s head, and tells her to make another the same way, and bring it to Nikki’s hotel room. Nikki hops in the car and drives off while Brie is left with smoothie dripping off of her face.

We get a video package highlighting the recent events between Big Show and Rusev that have led up to the next match. The promo highlights Show as fighting for America, spending some time on his support of the troops.

Rusev is the first man to make his way out to the ring, waving a Russian flag, and of course he’s accompanied by Lana.

Lana’s got a mic, and there are USA chants before she even starts speaking. Lana tells the crowd to shut up. She says in America, we claim to have the largest athlete, Big Show. In Russia, they have the super athlete, Rusev. Tonight, they collide for superiority, so she asks the crowd to be respectful, and rise for the Russian national anthem, but the Big Show’s music plays instead. Show walks out to a nice reaction from the crowd.

Singles Match
Big Show vs. Rusev

The bell rings, and Big Show backs Rusev into the corner with a series of punches to the gut. Show hits Rusev with a big chop, then he follows him across the ring and hits another. Show hits Rusev with a head butt, and Rusev retaliates with a shot to the throat. Show misses a back splash in the corner, and Rusev blocks a big boot by attacking Show’s knee. Rusev hits a chop block, then repeatedly slams Show’s knee into the canvas, and stomps and wrenches away at it.

Rusev buries his knee in Show’s knee before pulling back and stretching Show’s leg. Rusev wraps his leg around Show’s ankle, but Show breaks the hold using his other leg. Rusev stands and kicks Show in the knee, then suplexes him over fairly easily. Rusev goes right back to work on Show’s leg.

Big Show is able to kick Rusev away, and he hits a head butt, but Rusev comes back with a big dropkick to send Show crashing back down to the mat. Rusev stomps down on Show’s back, and he tries for the accolade, but Show counters into a submission of his own, wrenching back and putting pressure on Rusev’s legs and back. Rusev makes it to the ropes to force a break.

Show waits for Rusev to stand and he goes for the KO punch, but Rusev ducks it. Show takes Rusev to the mat, splashes him in the corner a couple of times, and connects with a giant spear. Mark Henry makes his way down toward the ring and tells Show to do it. Show calls for the chokeslam. Show grabs Rusev around his throat. Rusev fights Show off, and he goes for a kick, but Show grabs his foot to stop him, then hits the chokeslam. Show goes for the pin, but is only able to get two. Rusev drops out to the floor.

Henry wants to attack, but he stays back. Henry cheers Show on, on his way into the ring. Rusev connects with a kick to the jaw. Henry gets up to the apron and gets a kick of his own. Rusev hits a couple more big kicks to the side of Show’s head. Rusev locks in the accolade, cranking back and putting all the pressure on Big Show’s back. Lana looks on excitedly outside, and the referee calls for the bell as Show fades and looks to be unable to defend himself.

Winner: Rusev

Lana holds Rusev’s arm high as the Russian flag drops down from the rafters. The announcers speculate as to who possibly could beat Rusev since Mark Henry, Big Show, and Jack Swagger were all unable to do it. Mark Henry is in the ring yelling at Rusev as Rusev walks to the back. Henry helps Show to his feet.

We get a brief promo for Survivor Series.

Dean Ambrose is shown backstage. He says with his match against Rollins, one thing came to mind, Halloween. The most popular costume will be Seth Rollins, and the reason is the many reasons that Ambrose is going to destroy Rollins. Ambrose says tonight they’ll both burn in hell.

Back in the arena, AJ makes her way down to the ring, skipping of course, and the champion gets a bit of a reaction from the fans.

Paige is out next, with Alicia Fox in tow, and she doesn’t get much of a reaction at all.

WWE Divas Championship Match
AJ Lee vs. Paige

The bell rings, and we get a lockup. Paige is able to lock in a headlock, but AJ fights out of it. Paige scores with a shouder block, but AJ comes right back with a clothesline, and a roll up for one. Paige kicks AJ in the gut, but AJ comes back with a hurricanrana, and a rull up for two. AJ grabs Paige’s hair and skips around for a bit before hitting her with a big spinning back heel kick. Paige bails to the floor, and AJ follows. AJ backs Paige into the apron, then she attacks Alicia. Paige runs away, but comes back and takes AJ down on the floor, grabbing her legs and slamming her repeatedly into the ringside barricade. Paige brings things back into the ring and hits a series of head butts to AJ’s forehead.

Paige brings things into the corner and hits a series of back elbows to AJ’s face before stomping away at her chest. Paige heads out to the apron and hits a series of knees to AJ’s chest before heading back into the ring for a near fall. Paige grabs AJ’s arms and yanks back, stretching out her shoulders. AJ is able to fight out of it, but Paige backs her into the corner and hits her with more back elbows. AJ is able to fight back with a big boot, series of back elbows, and a neckbreaker. AJ hits a kick, but Paige responds with a big kick of her own for two.

Paige tries for a suplex, but AJ turns things around with a kick to Paige’s jaw. AJ heads to the middle rope and leaps off with a tornado DDT for another two count. AJ traps Paige in a guillotine choke in the middle of the ring, but Paige turns it around, skipping around with AJ before hitting a fall away slam. AJ rolls out to the floor, to Paige’s dismay. Paige heads to the outside and sends AH into the barricade before climbing up on top of the barricade. Paige tries for a suplex of some kind, but AJ sweeps out her legs, and Paige crashes down to the floor.

AJ heads into the ring, and Alicia tosses in Paige. AJ locks in the black widow, and Paige is forced to tap out.

Winner and STILL WWE Divas Champion: AJ Lee

Following the match, Paige slaps Alicia and tells her that she hates her on her way up the aisle to the back.

We get a quick commercial for WWE Rivalries, debuting on the WWE Network tomorrow, before Michael Cole hypes Hell in a Cell Fallout on the Network later tonight.

Back in the arena, the cell begins to lower to the floor once more.

We get a video package that highlights some of the history between Rollins and Ambrose, not only recently, but including their time as part of a team in the Shield. The video package covers Rollins’ turn on Ambrose and Reigns, Rollins almost ‘ending’ Ambrose’s career, and Ambrose qualifying for this match.

Hell in a Cell Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Dean Ambrose is the first man to make his way into the arena, wearing what looks to maybe be a kendo stick on his back. Ambrose tosses chair after chair into the ring, pulling them all from underneath, before grabbing a table and pulling it out on the floor. Ambrose grabs some kind of pack, opens it and tosses it aside, then looks up. Ambrose heads to the outside and looks up to the top of the cage, yelling ‘we’re all gonna die tonight’ before heading up to the top.

Ambrose pulls out the kendo stick and walks around on the top of the cell to the crowd’s delight.

Seth Rollins is out next, and he’s yelling and pointing at Ambrose. Rollins heads into the ring, and yells for Ambrose to come down from the top of the cell immediately.

Rollins tells Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury that he’s going up to the top after Ambrose. Noble disagrees and pulls Rollins off of the cell. Rollins tells Noble and Mercury to go to the top and get him. Rollins says that they work for him, and they need to get up there. Mercury and Noble take off their jackets, and begin scaling the cell wall.

Noble makes it to the top first, followed closely by Mercury. Ambrose claps for both men. Ambrose whacks Mercury and Noble across their stomachs, then repeatedly across their backs. Rollins is in from out of nowhere and he ambushes Ambrose, the two trading punches. Noble grabs Ambrose’s leg, and Rollins grabs the kendo stick, wailing on Ambrose’s back. Ambrose drops the kendo stick to the floor while Noble and Mercury attack Ambrose. Mercury and Noble hold Ambrose up, then Rollins tells them to throw Ambrose off. Ambrose fights them off, then suplexes Noble on top of the cell.

Rollins attempts to escaps climbing down the cage. Rollins comes down after him, grabbing him by the hair. Ambrose drives Rollins’ head into the side of the cell, and the two trade rights. Ambrose slams Rollins’ head into the cell wall. Rollins slams Ambrose’s head into the cell wall. Both men fall from the cell and Ambrose and Rollins wipe out the announcers table, and the Spanish announcer’s table respectively.

Referees and officials are out to check on Ambrose and Rollins, and a stretcher is brought out from the back. Rollins is placed on a stretcher, and Ambrose is put on a backboard.

Rollins is stretchered toward the back, and Ambrose is not far behind him. The crowd chants for Ambrose, and he fights out of the stretcher. Ambrose runs up the entranceway and goes right after Rollins, taking him out of the stretcher and running him into the side of the cell. Ambrose brings Rollins into the cell and scared off Mercury and Noble before slamming the cell door into Rollins’ head. Ambrose yells at the refs to lock the door, and the bell is rung.

Ambrose grabs another back from under the ring and tosses aside a couple of tools before pulling out some duck tape. Ambrose sits on a chair and screams at Rollins before smashing him across the back repeatedly. Ambrose slams the chair down on Rollins’ side and arm. Rollins rolls out to the apron, but Ambrose grabs him by the side of the head and launches him back into the ring. Rollins heads to the apron on the other side of the ring, and Ambrose grabs him and inches toward his face with a screwdriver. Rollins fights it off, but Ambrose is able to dropkick Rollins into the cell wall before he slams him head first into the cell wall.

Ambrose sets up a table against the cell wall. Ambrose shoulders Rollins, but Rollins fights out of it and heads into the ring. Ambrose follows and clotheslines Rollins in the back of the head out to the floor. Ambrose hits the ropes and dives to the outside, driving Rollins into the cell wall. Ambrose brings things back into the ring, stacking all of the chairs into a pile. Ambrose grabs Rollins by the nose, and tries for a suplex, but Rollins fights it off, hitting a belly to back suplex to send Ambrose crashing into the pile of chairs.

Rollins heads out to the floor and goes under the ring for a table. Rollins puts the table awkwardly between the apron and cell wall. Rollins gets on the apron and tries to suplex Ambrose, but Ambrose fights it off. Ambrose heads to the middle rope and hits an elbow drop, sending Rollins crashing through the table and to the arena floor.

Ambrose taunts Mercury and Noble before turning back to Rollins and raking his face against the cage. Kane is in out of nowhere and he blasts Ambrose with a fire extinguisher. This allows Rollins to hit a running powerbomb on the outside, sending Ambrose crashing through the propped up table, and into the cell wall. Rollins sends Ambrose back into the ring, and he follows after, pulling himself up in the corner. Rollins hits the curb stomp, and goes for a pin, but Ambrose is able to kick out at two.

Rollins, looking frustrated, heads out to the floor and grabs his Money in the Bank briefcase. He brings it in the ring, drops it, and grabs a chair, hitting Ambrose across the back, and on the forearms when Ambrose rolls to his back. Rollins positions Ambrose’s head on the briefcase, but Ambrose pops up. Ambrose tries for dirty deeds, but Rollins counters. Ambrose hits a rebound lariat, then smashes Rollins with the briefcase. Ambrose pins Rollins, but only gets a two count.

Ambrose goes under the ring again, and this time he brings out a couple of cinder blocks. Ambrose brings the blocks into the ring, and lays them side by side. Ambrose smiles wildly as he sets Rollins’ head on the blocks. Ambrose backs up, and the lights go out. Something begins playing, which sounds like a tape being played backwards. When the lights come back on, a lantern is in the middle of the ring. Smoke billows up from around the lantern, and a figure flickers in the smoke. Ambrose checks it out cautiously, and Bray Wyatt attacks from out of nowhere.

The lights go out, and come back on again, and Wyatt does his spider walk out of the corner. Wyatt drops Ambrose to the mat with a big urunage. Wyatt looks on as Rollins crawls over for the pin. Rollins gets the three count.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Rollins leaves quickly following the match, as Wyatt continues to kneel in the ring. Wyatt stands quickly, and pulls Ambrose to his feet to execute sister Abigail. Wyatt poses over Ambrose’s body, smiling, and laughing while looking toward the sky. The screen cuts to black.

Ziggler/Cesaro could have been a great match, and it started to be when Ziggler just stole it. It made Cesaro look weak as well. Ziggler got in the most offense, and when Cesaro first got in his signature moves and finishers, Ziggler even kicked out of that.... *1/2

Good match, and when it's all set and done for Goldust I think he will be remembered so much more for his ring work now thanks to his comeback. He's been turning in the best work of his career since the early to mid 90s.
