The thread name isn't misleading. It doesn't say "Jim Ross CONFIRMS Jeff Hardy getting the title shot", it says "Jim Ross COMMENTS on Jeff Hardy getting the title shot". Comment and confirm do not mean the same thing. Comments simply means talks about, which he did.
