Review of a RAW that really semed like an episode of 'Lost'

Ok. seriously what the hell did i just watch?

First off, did JBL try to challenge John Cena for the WWE title?

Second, Trevor Murdoch singing? i didnt know the guy could talk let alone sing.

Third, HBK only said 3 words the entire show, which i think has to be a record for him. "I'm hurt, Chris."

And did they really end the show with a Crippler Crossface Cliffhanger? (sorry, but i just had to use that pun)

But seriously, for a post-ppv Raw they really got off on a strange note with their next ppv only being 3 weeks away.

what do you guys think?

I think JBL was a little confused. Where was Cena last night anyway (not that I particularly wanted to see him, just wondering).

I'm really looking forward to Trevor Murdoch as a singles wrestler actually. He's a great ring worker. I have no idea what was with the country singing though.

Overall, most of the segments last night had some major plot-holes in them. I guess the ending was just to build up fan desire to actually seeing an ending to a HHH/Orton match (on PPV of course), and to build up heel heat for Regal. So technically, it makes sense from a kayfabe standpoint, but it is something that you never see happen on RAW. The live crowd really got screwed though.

i missed the JBL bit i dont think i missed much though

I think the ending was unique and a good way to build interest

The ending was a good way to make people watch RAW next week because I'm actually curious on who won plus Regal got heel heat so that was a double win situation there. I was hoping Murdoch was going to apologize to Cade not sing:sick: It was a good RAW IMO, and I'm hoping for more like it but I can see a JBL/Cena feud for the number one contender spot and also using JBL to hopefully get Cena his "face" reaction again instead of the boos he usually gets.

well i case anyone wanted to know there is no way Cena could have showed up because his head basically got kicked off his shoulders but i flipped at the end because it was a really good match untill that point

Have you not visited the news section? Even if you hadn't, logic would tell you that the WWE title isn't going to change hands in a match whose ending isn't televised.
