its been announced that frank mir and shane carwin will be fighting for the interim UFC Heavyweight title at UFC 111. Carwin earned this shot after defeating Gabriel Gonzaga by KO at UFC 96 then began a bizarre string of fight cancellations after carwin was supposed to fight Cain Velasquez at UFC 104 for the #1 contender for the heavyweight title but Dana White changed his mind and set up a title match with Brock Lesnar at UFC 106 which was postponed due to Brock's illness and then postponed again at UFC 108 after Brock was Hospitalized and Carwin injured his knee.
With Frank Mir submitting Cheick Kongo at UFC 107 he earned this shot at the title....
So who do you think is gonna win at UFC 111?

Yeah, I see Mir winning and then evntually a Mir vs Lesnar III. That would be an awesome fight and a ratings bananza for UFC.

We all know that can happen at any time and would be a damn shame if it did happen. I am guessing all top staff at UFC would love to see the rematch. $$$$$
