Did Shaemus get screwed over on RAW 22nd Feb?

Sheamus lost the title in the chamber, that is fair enough but not to show him on RAW the next night is wrong IMO. Also, to have Batista take his place in a match for him is also wrong, fair enough they want to push Cena vs Batista but why couldn't Shaemus come down to the ring and maybe interfere in a way? Why couldn't Shaemus come out and argue with Cena about who should get a title shot or even Vince about Batista wrestling for him?

I don't know, I like Shaemus and I think he has a great future in the WWE but in this instance I feel he got screwed. I certainly hope he comes out next week and says something about this fiasco, although I would think that Shaemus will start his feud with Triple H next week if they are going with that storyline.

ya i kinda have to agree LionDen ya sheamus doesnt have to go to wrestlemania but he doesnt deserve to get screwed over like he did

Sheamus Is an incredible in ring performer. he has the great heel look about him like many before. i hate the fact that he lost his title so vince could get more money out of the Bret hart storyline. as the rumors is that he will return and win the title at mania. and if he does that, in my opinion would be stupid. Sheamus didnt do hardly anything in the chamber match they seemed to focus on everyone else. And now edge will win the WH at mania, and who ever in the McHart storyline leaving sheamus to battle trips. Yeah thats a good match but i think sheamus deserves to be a champion as he has the talent. and not just because he is Trips friend.

Sheamus I agree, as everybody has said, is a great character & he's showing lots of promise. Did he get screwed? I think he did, especially w/ putting that whining, kiss-ass loser Boretista in his place for WM. I'm still pissed that he won the WWE Championship this past Sunday, the whole PPV was a mess & this was the standout moment of why it was so bad. I've really begun to hate Dave both inside & outside the ring - especially in downplaying the younger talent, the up-and-comers who are the future of WWE & will no doubt be the stars we're talking about 5-10 years from now.

Sure, they may have pushed Sheamus too early, but to have him not in the picture for WrestleMania XXVI is stupid & very selfish of WWE to do. Not only that, his push has merit & no, it's not just cause Triple H & Shawn are impressed by his potential. He's done more than prove he's a force to be reckoned with in the E & that he'll be one of their best new talent to carry them into the future.

He reminds me of when Orton joined RAW and the impact he made. Although Orton had good storylines behind him like the veteran killer and then the grouping with lalir, Batista and Triple H. Since then Orton has been in the top tier of the company and I could see Sheamus being up there as well instead of mid carding.

It is a shame Sheamus did not have a great storyline to cover his ass during the title reign. Although, I do not think I ever saw a bad word about his title reign, except from Cena lovers and I think that says alot for him and his future. Hopefully they do get some good storylines for him after his stint with Triple H.
