    Default Wrestling writer and friend of Benoit, Bill Apter on FOX news

    Just got this off FOX news:

    Wrestling writer and friend of Benoit, Bill Apter was on FOX news and said he can not fathom how Chris could have done this. Benoit was on the phone with Apter not long ago and Benoits son was on his lap laughing and having fun. Apter also says that this was not in Benoits character to do this and that he just can't get any of this.

    Text messages were brought up and Apter mentioned he did not recieve one.

    The divorce and abuse was brought up from 2003 and Apter says that was all over and they had made up.

    Asked about the apparant steroid rage angle, Apter says it is not a pre-requisite to be in wrestling, Benoit loved to work out and was proud of what he done. Apter says he does not know if this was part of the tragedy. Some wrestlers have been quoted by FOX saying that to be in the business you have to be on steroids, Apter strongly disagreed with this.

    At the end of the interview Apter brought up Sherri Martel and sent out his best wishes to her.

    crazy stuff man....i dunno how anyone could be driven to the point to do what Benoit did. Just crazy
