Default Wrongful death lawsuits likely in the Benoit and Grunge cases

Channel 5 in Atlanta, GA reported last night that the family of Nancy Benoit is considering filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Phi Astin. There may also be a wrongful death lawsuit filed on behalf of Johnny Grunge's widow, Penny Bordeau-Durham. Dr. Astin was the physician for both Chris Benoit and Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham.

i can't blame them for suing him as he is partly responsible in what happened on that fatal weekend

    More on this:

Fox 5 in Atlanta interviewed Richard Decker, the attorney of Nancy Benoit's parents last night while covering the latest developments in the Benoit family tragedy. The report noted that they will be pursuing legal action in regard to the deaths of Nancy and Daniel Benoit, but commented, "I'd rather not speculate who the potential defendants would be at this time...at some time, we'll be filing a lawsuit, so everybody will know."

The story also featured comments from Dr. Phil Astin's attorney, who stated that the toxicology report should end the speculation of Astin's involvement in the tragedy. Astin is currently under indictment for allegedly illegally dispensing medication to other patients, including former WWE star Mark Jindrak and current star Rey Mysterio. The government intends to file additional charges as they continue to research Astin's medical records from the last several years.

What are they going to gain? Really? They're not going to get them back.

I am interested to know if they make any money form the lawsuit, will they put the money in the charity they started in Nancy and Daniels name.
