Royal Rumble, Triple H or Cm Punk?

Well now that Cm Punk is no longer the Ecw champion many think that he will win the Royal Rumble match and defeat Edge at Wrestlemania. But I dont think they've thought about Triple H's build up to the the Rumble match. They've been teasing a Orton/Triple H feud since Cena was injured. And Triple H has much more power in the company than Punk, and as we've all seen in the past, he uses that backstage power to give himself big match wins. Cm Punk has no build up whatsoever, and as far as i know he isn't even listed as being in the Royal Rumble match. So what do you think? Cm Punk or Triple H?

If Triple H is gonna go to Wrestlemania, it won't be from the Rumble. The WWE magazine has Jeff Hardy with the Elimination Chamber behind him, and since that's what they have been talking about for a while, I think it's safe to say that whoever wins the Rumble will go to Smackdown to fued with Edge. In my mind, there are three possibilities:

1. CM Punk - Just entered a fued with Edge, who cost him his belt the week before the Rumble.
2. The Undertaker - Off and On fued with Edge, streak vs title at Wrestlemania.
3. Mr. Kennedy - Edge took away his Wrestlemania title shot, he may win the Rumble and get it back.

I am hoping that Punk wins it though.

IMO, Punk is most likely to get the win(which I'm glad for) because an Edge/Punk feud at WM24 would be awesome but they now joined the ECW title with SD! and Chavo as champion can't really go anywhere but Chavo/Shelton would be great too.

I'm gonna be at WM24, so if it's Punk vs Edge, especially with Punk winning, it will be AMAZING.

I would have assumed that CM Punk gets a rematch for the ECW title that he lost, and wouldn't even be in the battle royal. To me, what makes more sense is to have Edge once again cost him the match at the PPV, while Edge goes over Mysterio clean. This leads perfectly to an Edge/Punk feud on SD, and of course, there's like a dozen people that could feud with Chavo on ECW.

Since we already know Trips is in the battle royal, I think it makes a lot more sense to pick him to win over CM Punk (who isn't even in the match).

How exactly do you come to that conclusion? Yes, there will be an elimination chamber match for RAW at No Way Out, but whoever wins the rumble will be headlining Wrestlemania, and will face whoever the champion is then, while in kayfabe, they can still pick whichever title they want to go after. So it's still very possible (and likely, IMO) for HHH to win the Rumble, not be in the Elimination Chamber match, and then challenge Orton at WM.

A Punk/Edge feud already has the ground set. Punk lost the ECW title, and him and Edge have already interacted. I'm not sure why you would think that Punk wining the rumble is the *only* way he can feud with Edge.

Hunter doesn't need to win the Rumble to get a title shot at 'Mania. Plus, as we've seen in the past, the Rumble winner doesn't always take up the main event match. So Punk can win the Rumble and have his shot in the mid-card leaving the Main Event for say Triple H.
And regarding the Chamber, is it not at all posible that it be an inter-promotional match aswell, with two men for each brand?
