    Default Charlie Haas's lucha gimmick

For those of you who don't know, Charlie Hass has been workin a lucha gimmick on Heat for a while now. During the match he'll leave the ring, go under it, and come out with his mask on. Now, I know he doesn't really wrestling a good luchadore style, but I like this gimmick. Haas has never been able to really get over with WWE crowds because of his lack of charisma, mic skills, and "the look". I think this new gimmick makes him more intresting to watch. I'm curious to see where WWE will go with this. I only have one complaint though. Usually when he has it on his opponents easily just snatch it off his face. If it's this easy to remove masks, why doesn't anyone ever do this to Rey Mysterio? They need to stop that, lol.

Well, I barely watch Heat so I don't know about his matches there. When I saw it on RAW though, I was quite interested. I hope to see more of it on RAW, though I doubt it.

I saw it live, and it was pretty funny. It's a good comic relief type thing. My favorite move of his when he has it on is that he goes on the top rope, does two poses, jumps down, rolls on the ground, stands up, takes one step to the left, and then does an ordinary leg drop. It is so ridiculous to have so much build up for a leg drop that it's funny.

lol, I think he did that on heat once, but with an elbow drop. It was hilarious.

i dont care for it at all. i think haas has what it takes to be a great mid card/ic/us title holder.
i really enjoyed his time when kurt angle had him and shelton working with him. they looked great to me.
maybe wwe could find him another tag partner like kenny dykstra and push them as a "rocker" type team. the speed and quickness.

You go back to the start of time. One cave guy was fighting another cave guy because his club was bigger than his or his woman had longer hair. That’s competition

    I don't get it..?
Why does he need a gimmick?
He's a tremendous athlete in the ring and fun to watch. But then again, I'm the type who prefers a 20 minute wrestling match over a 20 minute. So give me Haas any day in place of Cena, Triple H or Kennedy

I doubt that wearing a mask will propel him into superstardom. May not hurt him, but it's surely not going to help him.
