Exclamation Chris Harris Speaks Out on Christian's WWE Return

One topic James wondered about given the dismal time Chris Harris had as Braden Walker on WWE's ECW show was motivation. Why did WWE do so little for Harris's character? Was it the TNA ties? After all, homegrown talent seem to get a leg up initially. Case in point: Christian Cage's WWE return last night. Had Harris seen it? If so, what thoughts did he have?

"I did catch a glimpse of that and I'm really happy for Christian. He's a good friend of mine. I actually called him right after I'd seen that. But I think back to what I was saying before about the whole TNA thing. It's almost like if they created you, they're willing to market you and obviously Christian deserves that spot times ten. I wouldn't have been surprised if they brought him out on Raw."

After thinking for a moment, Chris speaks about a similarity between he and Cage. Although Christian was a homegrown talent, he still might have some sins to atone for.

"Who knows? Maybe that's his punishment. They're thinking to themselves, 'We'll have him on ECW, you know, feuding with the new guy (Jack Swagger.)'"
Chris reveals some alternative choices for his Braden Walker name in ECW and why one suggestion by Tazz left Mick Foley rolling in laughter. On a more serious note though, Harris thanks the fans for helping him remember why he loved the business.

"It's a real significant place in my career and I have to thank the fans because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have even gotten to this point. I've done a lot of thinking over the past year, especially the last few months. It was getting to the point where I was even thinking of getting out of the business. For whatever reason, It just dawned on me that this is me. This is where I belong and getting my head back in the game. I've done a few appearances just to motivate me a little bit…In all these appearances, it's been the fans who have motivated me to get back into it.

"There's a part of me that when you get down, it's 'Aw. They've forgotten about me and they don't really care and they look at me as a failure.' Well, the fans have been nothing but positive and very supportive. When I get back from these appearances, I think that really helped me. These fans have been great. They're the ones who are picking me up and motivating me to be the old Wildcat. So I have to thank them and I don't really think they realize how important they can be in our careers. I have a big thank you for that and I hope here on out whatever I do in my career, I can make them proud of me again."

Chris is known for his amazing TNA run, but in recent months, his poor WWE one is taking center stage. Harris speaks about the disappointment over what his World Wrestling Entertainment stint turned into with James Guttman, but the frank conversation didn't end there. The Wildcat's ClubWWI.com shoot also included talk of: How WWE Was The Most Miserable Time of His Career, Alternative Choices To Braden Walker, Worry Over Legal Action From The TV show
"America's Most Wanted," Kid Kash's Apology, The Time AMW and Jeff Jarrett Beat Up a Fan in the ring. Guys in TNA Who Are Hogging The Spotlight, How Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay Helped AMW, James Storm, Bret Hart, Curt Hennig, Mick Foley, Vince Russo, and More

James Guttman's second book, "World Wrestling Insanity Presents: Shoot First…Ask Questions Later," is available at BarnesandNoble.com or wherever books or sold.
