A would-be festive reveller is having a rather hard time booking tables at restaurants – because her name is Mary Christmas.
The 43-year-old wed Paul Christmas 12 years ago - without realising what was in store.
‘Once I booked a table for 20 under my name but they thought it was a joke so, when we arrived, we couldn’t have dinner.
'Now I always book under my maiden name, McCarthy,’ said the 43-year-old from Gorseinon, Swansea.
