Rafa Benitez will be reunited with old rivals Everton when Chelsea visit Goodison Park on Sunday lunchtime.

The interim Chelsea boss knows all about David Moyes' side from the Spaniard's days as manager of Liverpool in Merseyside derbies.

He is therefore unlikely to receive a warm reception at Goodison Park but he will not be interested in making friends.

Benitez also remains unpopular among some Chelsea fans but he has brought about a turnaround in the club's performances.

The London outfit have scored 12 goals in their last three Premier League matches and sit third in the table as a result, albeit 11 points behind leaders Manchester United.

But fifth-placed Everton could overtake their visitors with a win and they have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games against Chelsea.

Moyes will as a result be desperate to improve his record against Benitez, who has won five and drawn one of his last six Premier League meetings with Everton.
