Bryan Danielson is back on AEW programming, and the American Dragon has shown his more vicious side.

Before this week, Danielson's most recent appearance was on the March 8, episode of Dynamite, which came after his loss to World Champion MJF at Revolution.

On that episode, Danielson said he was "going home" which had fans speculating on his future with All Elite Wrestling

During this week's Dynamite, Kenny Omega defended the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Cobb.

After the match, Omega was confronted by the Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta.

Danielson's music would interrupt the potential beatdown, and the former WWE World Champion made his return to AEW programming.

At first, Danielson backed off his fellow Blackpool Cobat Club members and helped Kenny Omega up to his feet.

Seconds later, Danielson blasted Omega with a running knee strike, which prompted the other BCC members to jump back in and continue the assault.

Omega's beatdown is just the latest setback for the Elite, as last week saw the Young Bucks be attacked moments before the show began.

The two-time former AEW World Tag Team Champions were taken to a local hospital and did not appear at all for the rest on the show.

In a backstage segment this week before Omega's match with Cobb, the Blackpool Combat Club assaulted Don Callis.

According to PWInsider, Callis was legitimately injured in the segment after striking his head following a forearm from Jon Moxley.
