Angry WWE RAW Live Coverage - February 24th, 2025

Bianca Belair & Naomi vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez - WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

After controversial video footage emerged of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the area when Jade Cargill was assaulted, Bianca Belair and Naomi journeyed to Raw to attack Morgan before causing Rodriguez to lose to Roxanne Perez in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Now, the two tandems will square off in a highly personal WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match.

    – We kick off RAW with clips of Bianca Belair & Naomi, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, Gunther, The Alpha Academy, Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai, and Lyra Valkyria and Cody Rhodes arriving at the arena at different times. The Alpha Academy, however, are shown backstage dancing for TikTok.

    – Michael Cole and Pat McAfee greet audiences at home as Logan Paul makes his way down to the ring.

Paul rags on his home state of Ohio and the city of Cincinnati, then says he defeated Rey Mysterio the last time he was in the ring to secure his spot in the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber. He says he'll defeat "three doorknobs and John Cena" in the match to go on to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

CM Punk's music hits and he saunters out to the ring. Paul asks Punk what his problem with is and wonders if it's because he's jealous of him, then says Punk's career is a series of him failing upwards. Punk says he has no problem with Paul and things between them are just business, but says all he sees in Paul is a kid who does stupid things for shock value. He says he has no character or substance, and fans deserve better.

Paul says when Punk came back to WWE in one of the best returns of all time, he tore his tricep shortly after because he couldn't handle the spotlight. He says it's only a matter of time before fans are chanting his name rather than booing it, and Punk says that while Paul said a lot of wrong things, he was right about the names changing that fans chants. He says those names, including his own, are legends and history makers. He says he'll win the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber, face Rhodes, and make history at WrestleMania 41 while Paul will be history and no one will think about him. He says Rhodes already knows that Punk is Satan himself, something that Paul – a nobody– will find out on Saturday at Elimination Chamber.

Paul slaps Punk and immediately rolls out of the ring to avoid a beat down from Punk. As he retreats up the ramp and mockingly apologizes to Punk, Punk warns him to run while he can because he won't have anywhere to run on Saturday.

    – Ludwig Kaiser then makes his way out to the ring. Pete Dunne and Penta follow.

Triple Threat Match: Ludwig Kaiser vs. Penta vs. Pete Dunne

The bell rings and Dunne dropkicks Kaiser. Penta catches Dunne in a side headlock, but Kaiser looks to fly off the ring apron on the outside. Dunne sees him coming and rains down right and left hands on him before he goes after Penta, but Kaiser tosses Penta into one of the barricades and dumps him inside the ring.

Penta lands a kick on Kaiser and clotheslines him out of the ring, then ascends to the top and lands a crossbody on both Dunne and Kaiser. Penta delivers a chop on Kaiser back in the ring, but Kaiser fires off stomps on Penta in the corner. Dunne snaps Penta's fingers and stomps on them. Dunne and Kaiser then teeter on the ropes, but Penta pulls them both off.

Penta sends Dunne crashing into the mat face first with a Sling Blade and follows suit with Kaiser, but Penta flies over the ropes to level Kaiser and Dunne. Penta pins Kaiser, but Dunne breaks the fall. Penta and Dunne go back and forth, but Penta rocks Dunne with a superkick. Penta delivers a Mexican Destroyer to Dunne off Kaiser's back, then sends his arm bouncing off the mat and sets up for the Penta Driver. Kaiser prevents Penta from landing the move, then sends Dunne crashing into the mat for the win.

    Winner: Ludwig Kaiser

    – Jackie Redmond is on hand with Rhea Ripley. Redmond talks to Ripley about who will be the challenger for the Women's World Title and brings up Ripley's match against Iyo Sky on Monday. Ripley says she will keep her eye on the chamber match but her main focus is Iyo Sky. She tells Redmond the last time she faced Sky was five years ago and in those five years she's become the most dominant female in the WWE. She rattles off the names of the women she's beaten and says after Monday, Sky's name will be added to the list. Sky comes by and tells Ripley she will beat her on RAW next week.

    – New Day then make their way down to the ring. LWO follows.

    New Day vs. LWO

Xavier Woods and Joaquin Wilde begin the action. The bell rings and Wilde wastes no time. He fires off stomps on Woods in the corner, then tags in Cruz Del Toro. Del Toro and Wilde level Woods with a double shoulder tackle, then double team on him before Del Toro delivers a springboard moonsault to him.

Del Toro delivers a hurricanrana off the middle rope to Woods, and Kofi Kingston tags in. He fires off stomps on Del Toro, then tags in Woods. New Day delivers the Unicorn Stampede to Del Toro, but Woods lands a dropkick on Del Toro. Kingston tags in and continues wearing down Del Toro, but Woods tag in and New Day delivers a backbreaker-double stomp off the ropes combination for the win.

    Winners: New Day

    – After the match, Dragon Lee runs down to the ring and beats down both Woods and Kingston. Woods and Kingston outnumber him and send him crashing into the mat with a double powerbomb.

    – Backstage, The Judgement Day is in their clubhouse. Finn Balor is scolding Dominik Mysterio and Mysterio says they need a new member. Balor says he will fix things. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez come by and tell them to stop fighting. Balor tells them to mind their own business and brings up what happened to Jade Cargill. Morgan says they weren't involved in that and that they'll all handle their own business.

Gunther makes his way out to the ring and gets on the mic. Gunther tells us he'll be in action tonight but he wants to talk WrestleMania first. He says he was initially angry about Jey Uso picking him as his opponent but now he realizes he can end the YEET circus for good and humiliate Uso. He says he hand picked his opponent tonight and calls out Akira Tozawa. Alpha Academy comes down to the ring and Gunther says the reason he's picked Tozawa is because when he walked in today, they were doing a TikTok dance and that annoyed him. He tells Tozawa he's wasted his talent just like Jey Uso he's only here to be a fool for the fans. He says he'll end Uso's career at WrestleMania and today Tozawa can achieve something Uso never will - which is earn Gunther's respect and starts pushing Tozawa around.

GUNTHER vs. Akira Tozawa (w/ Alpha Academy)

The bell rings and Tozawa fires off strikes on GUNTHER. GUNTHER runs over Tozawa with a boot, but Tozawa lands a chop on GUNTHER. GUNTHER levels Tozawa with a chop of his own and looks to follow it up with a powerbomb, but Tozawa prevents GUNTHER from landing the move. He delivers a roundhouse kick to GUNTHER, but GUNTHER responds with a big boot and sets up for a powerbomb. Tozawa escapes, but GUNTHER catches him in a Boston Crab when he looks to fly off the ropes.

Tozawa crawls over to the bottom rope to escape with some encouragement from Otis on the outside, but GUNTHER lands a chop and powerbomb on Tozawa. He pins him, but pulls him off the mat and locks in a Sleeper on him. Tozawa fades.

    Winner: GUNTHER

    – After the match, Otis squares up to GUNTHER. GUNTHER slides out of the ring, but gets back inside and locks in a Sleeper on him. Jey Uso then runs down to the ring to come to Otis' aid, forcing GUNTHER to retreat.

    – Dakota Kai is backstage with Iyo Sky getting ready for her match, and we see Lyra Valkyria also walking backstage ahead of her match.

    – Dakota Kai then makes her way out to the ring. Lyra Valkyria follows.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Dakota Kai

Valkyria slams down Kai at the bell and Kai starts with kicks on Valkyria. Kai rolls up Valkyria for a one count. Valkyria throws Kai across the ring and tries to kick her outside the ring. Kai and Valkyria are on the apron and Valkyria tries for a suplex and Kai counters and hits a cannonball on Valkyria and we get a commercial.

Back from break, Valkyria and Kai are on the top turnbuckle. Kai gets Valkyria tangled in the ropes and Valkyria kicks her way out of entanglement and they're both back on the top rope. Valkyria hits a stalled vertical suplex from the middle rope and both women are laid out. The women trade punches in the middle of the ring and Kai hits a Scorpion Kick on Valkyria and the women go back and forth with pinning attempts. Valkyria hits a powerbomb on Kai for a near fall. Valkyria gets on the top rope and jumps into a superkick by Kai. Kai kicks Valkyria and hits a Kairopractor and covers for a near fall. Valkyria slams Kai in the corner and both women are on the top rope again. Valkyria hits Nightwing to retain.

Winner and STILL Women's Intercontinental Champion: Lyra Valkyria

    – After the match, Kai and Valkyria hug and Valkyria celebrates in the ring. As Kai is walking away, Ivy Nile runs down and takes out Kai and then runs in the ring and beats up Valkyria. Nile poses with the belt after beating down Valkyria.

    – Jackie Redmond has a sit down interview with Sami Zayn earlier today. Zayn shares with us that not only Kevin Owens was at his house on Friday but he also went to Owens' house and saw his mom and they hung out. He says he went home and was ashamed of himself for going to Owens' house as he didn't have good intentions. He says he and Owens have never involved their families but it's different this time and he doesn't know what either of them are capable of right now. He talks about this match being "unsanctioned" and how this match will be a war. He tells Owens that he hopes he's ready because this war will be bad.

    – Dominik Mysterio is shown walking backstage with Finn Balor and Carlito and we see Bron Breakker walking backstage as well as they have a match next.

    – Judgment Day then makes their way out to the ring. Bron Breakker follows.

Dominik Mysterio (w/ Finn Balor and Carlito) vs. Bron Breakker

Mysterio flexes in front of Breakker who shoves Mysterio in the corner and throws him out of the ring. Mysterio is thrown back in the ring and Breakker runs the ropes and clotheslines Mysterio. Mysterio rolls out of the ring and regroups with Balor and Carlito. Breakker runs out to collect Mysterio who attacks him as they get back in the ring. Breakker back body drops Mysterio and then kicks him against the ropes. Balor distracts the ref allowing Carlito to trip Breakker. Mysterio is able to get Breakker down and covers for a one count. Breakker gorilla presses Mysterio and Carlito distracts Breakker allowing Mysterio to hit the 6-1-9 on Breakker. Mysterio gets on the top rope and Breakker gets up there with him. Breakker hits a Frankensteiner on Mysterio. Carlito and Balor take Breakker out of the ring causing a DQ.

    Winner by DQ: Bron Breakker

    – After the match, Carlito holds Breakker and Mysterio goes to beat on him but Breakker throws Mysterio out of the ring and then spears Carlito. Balor and Breakker then face off and Balor leaves the ring before they can get into it.

    – Cody Rhodes walks backstage with his title and it looks like he's making his way to the ring.

    – American Made is backstage and Cathy Kelley comes up to them and asks Ivy Nile about attacking Lyra Valkyria. Nile says she will attack Valkyria every week until she gets her title match and The Creed Brothers will take the titles away from The War Raiders. The Creed Brothers are then attacked by The War Raiders.

    – Back at ringside, Cody Rhodes makes his way down.

Rhodes asks Cincinnati what they want to talk about, then says he's pretty certain he knows what they're supposed to talk about. He ponders what it means when one man asks another for their soul, then says having grown up in the professional wrestling business, he thinks he understands the offer that The Rock has made him. He says he has his wife, daughter, his sister and her family, Brodie Lee Jr., The Nightmare Factory, two nephews, his mother, and the memory of his father. He says The Rock offered to give him everything he wanted without having to scratch, fight, and claw his way to the top when he's more than willing to do that.

Seth "Freakin" Rollins' music hits and he makes his way out. He tells Rollins that he would love to welcome Rhodes back to "Raw" with open arms, then says he would love to tell Rhodes that he can't wait to face him at WrestleMania 41 after he wins the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match. He says that he's actually in the ring to ask Rhodes what he's thinking with everything that happened at WrestleMania 40, then warns Rhodes not to make him regret what he sacrificed to help him win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Rhodes points out how judgmental Rollins sounds, and says the reason The Rock asked him for his soul rather than Rollins is that Rollins' sold may already have been sold out when he turned on The Shield to align with The Authority. He says Rollins was his shield and partner at WrestleMania 40, and was also the MVP of the Premium Live Event. Rollins says he's been filled with hate lately and sometimes that's pointed him in the right direction, but he doesn't want to hate Rhodes. He says the Rhodes he wants to face is the one who came back at WrestleMania 38, the one who beat him in Hell In A Cell with one arm, and the one he helped become Undisputed WWE Champion.

    – Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then make their way down to the ring.

    – We then head backstage to the trainer's room, where Akira Tozawa is being treated as Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Natalya flank him. Jey Uso enters and gives props to Tozawa before he runs into A-Town Down Under outside and a verbal confrontation ensues.

    – Back at ringside, Naomi and Bianca Belair make their way out.

WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match: Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) -vs- Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Naomi and Belair blindside Morgan and Rodriguez from behind. They send them crashing into barricades on the outside, and Belair dumps Morgan inside the ring. The bell sounds and Belair fires off shoulders on Morgan in the corner. She sends her crashing into the top turnbuckle face first, then tags in Naomi. Naomi and Belair deliver a double Russian Leg Sweep-elbow drop combination to Morgan before Belair tags back in and delivers a standing moonsault-leg drop combination with Naomi.

Belair tosses Morgan into the corner and charges at her, but Morgan catches Belair with a boot and whips her into the ropes. Rodriguez trips Belair while the referee has his back turned, then tags in and sends Belair crashing into one of the barricades. Rodriguez dumps Belair back into the ring and whips her into the corner, then tags Morgan in. Morgan fires off stomps on Belair in the corner, then tags Rodriguez back in.

Rodriguez continues wearing down Belair, then tags in Morgan. Morgan ascends up the ropes and sends Belair crashing into the mat off the middle one. Morgan then looks to deliver The Three Amigos to Belair, but Belair counters into a delayed vertical suplex. Rodriguez and Naomi then tag in, and Naomi levels Rodriguez with a kick to her face. She levels an interfering Morgan with a kick to her midsection and a senton, then lands a shoulder on Rodriguez's midsection from the apron and follows it up with a facebuster over the top rope.

Belair tags in and gets Rodriguez up on her shoulders. She looks to land a KOD, but Rodriguez escapes and tags in Morgan. Morgan ascends up the ropes, and delivers an assisted Codebreaker off the middle with Rodriguez. She pins Belair, but Belair kicks out. Naomi tags herself in and delivers a kick to Morgan's head. Belair and Naomi get Morgan up on their shoulders, but Dominik Mysterio runs down to the ring and distracts the referee. This opens the door for Rodriguez to help Morgan, deliver a Texana Bomb to Naomi, and Morgan to follow it up with Oblivion. She goes for a pin, but Belair breaks the fall.

Naomi sends Morgan crashing into the mat with a facebuster and tags in Belair. Belair looks to land a delayed vertical suplex on Morgan, but Morgan counters into a roll up. Belair kicks out and delivers a KOD to Morgan, then goes for a pin but Rodriguez breaks the fall. Naomi sends Rodriguez crashing into the ring apron and tags in, then lands the double KOD on Morgan with Belair. Naomi goes for a pin, but Dominik gets Morgan's foot on the bottom rope to break the hold while the referee isn't looking.

A fired up Belair looks to send Rodriguez crashing into the announce desk, but Rodriguez reverses it and sends Belair crashing into the mat. Morgan looks to take advantage and roll up Naomi, but Naomi kicks out. She lands a kick on Dominik's head and looks to fly off the ropes, but Rodriguez sends her crashing into the ring post face first. Morgan then transitions into a pinfall for the win.

Winners and NEW WWE Women's Tag Team Champions: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

    – Morgan, Rodriguez, and Dominik celebrate the former pair's win as the show goes off the air.

Nice photos Kwmo, I am finally getting to watch RAW now. lol 8:30pm at night. Doc gave me these meds that will probably keep me up all night, so I may as well stay awake till tomorrow night now.

HaHa Logan made Punk bleed by slapping him and running away. lol Even funnier. They really need to put him and Dom in a tag team, they would be the biggest heel tag team in history.

If Gunther says he is in the shape of his life for wrestling, I would have hated to seem him before. I still don't think he is fit.
