Tony D’Angelo defends the NXT North American Championship against Shawn Spears
The NXT North American Championship will be on the line when Tony D’Angelo defends his title against the dangerous Shawn Spears. Spears and his new group, which consists of Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and the alluring Izzi Dame, have terrorized The D’Angelo Family and even locked The Don and Adriana Rizzo inside a steel cage to inflict damage. Will Tony D be able to overcome maybe his greatest test yet? Or will Spears capture singles gold for the first time in his storied NXT career?
– Shawn Spears and his family are shown arriving, as well, we see The D'Angelo Family arriving. The Hardy Boyz are also shown walking in the parking lot.
– Vic Joseph, Booker T, and Corey Graves greet audiences before throwing it to a video of the events of last week's edition of NXT.
– Chelsea Green and Piper Niven then make their way out to the ring. Zaria and Sol Ruca follow.
Zaria and Sol Ruca vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven
Ruca and Green begin the action. The bell rings and Ruca lands a facebuster on Green. Niven and Zaria tag in and stare each other down, and Niven mocks Zaria by patting her on the head. She looks to bodyslam her, but Zaria escapes and looks to get Niven up on her shoulders. Niven stays on her feet and runs over Zaria with a shoulder tackle, then tags in Ruca.
Ruca looks to land a splash on Niven off the apron over the top rope, but Niven avoids it and tags in Green. Green whips Ruca into the corner, but Ruca responds with a superkick to Green and whips her into the mat. Niven tags in, and the action spills out of the ring with everyone leveling one another.
Niven tags back in and fires off strikes on Zaria in the corner, but Ruca tags in and looks to level Niven with a shoulder tackle. Niven stays standing on her feet, then tags in Green. Green delivers a mat return to Ruca and fires off right hands on her spine, then tags Niven in. Niven immediately tags out to Green and levels Ruca before Green wears Ruca down with a submission.
Niven tags in and lands a splash on Ruca's spine, then dumps Ruca across the ring and tags Green in. Ruca levels Green and Niven with a crossbody and tags in Zaria. Zaria runs over Niven with a boot and delivers a German suplex to Green, then follows it up with a spear on Green and goes for a pin. Green kicks out, but Ruca tags in and double teams on Green with Zaria. Zaria then delivers an F5 to Niven on top of Green, and Ruca follows it up with the Sol Snatcher to Green for the win.
Winners: Zaria and Sol Ruca
– Jordynne Grace is talking to Ava backstage. Cora Jade comes in and lets Grace know that she has a TNA match for the title and that she'll win it.
– Trick Williams is yelling at Ava regarding Eddy Thrope. Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon interrupt Williams and Williams says to go talk to Andre Chase. Dixon gets in Williams' face and he wants Dixon tonight.
– Jaida Parker then makes her way out to the ring. Kelani Jordan follows.
Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan
The bell rings and the two lock up. Parker sends Jordan crashing into the corner and fires off shoulders on her midsection, but Jordan lands a missile dropkick on Parker and connects with a standing moonsault. Jordan rolls up Parker, but Parker kicks out and levels Jordan with a back elbow. Jordan responds with a clothesline to Parker, then lands a springboard moonsault on her and sends Jordan crashing into the top turnbuckle spine first.
Parker sends Jordan repeatedly crashing into the ring apron midsection first, then dumps her back in the ring and wears her down with a submission. Parker drapes Jordan across the middle turnbuckle and lands a chop on her, then follows it up with a Hip Attack and sends her crashing into the mat. Parker and Jordan then exchange strikes, but Jordan levels Parker with a leg drop and goes for a pin. Parker kicks out.
Parker connects with a Fallaway Slam on Jordan, but Jordan responds with a Spanish Fly to Parker and looks to fly off the ropes. Parker trips Jordan, then looks to land a Hip Attack on her. Jordan moves out of the way and Parker is sent crashing into the ring steps, then looks to land a 450 Splash. Parker moves out of the way and lands a Hip Attack on Jordan for the win.
Winner: Jaida Parker
– Kelly Kincaid is backstage with The D'Angelo Family and asks The Don about Izzi Dame. He says he's been taught not to talk bad about women. She asks about his back and how it's doing. The Don says he's here and there is only one family of NXT... The D'Angelo Family.
– The Hardy Boyz are shown walking backstage.
– We see Oba Femi at a press conference. He talks about facing Moose and representing NXT on TNA and how he cannot lose.
– The Hardys then make their way down to the ring.
Jeff Hardy says the last two weeks have felt surreal, and it feels good to both be back in "NXT" and in WWE as a whole. Matt Hardy says himself and Jeff can feel the love appearing on "NXT" for the first time last week when they defeated No Quarter Catch Crew, then says himself and Jeff have been everywhere in the pro wrestling industry. He says the positivity and passion in the "NXT" is off the charts, and Jeff echoes Matt's sentiment. He says he saw the same fire in Nathan Frazer and Axiom as himself and Matt had.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger's music hits, and they make their way out. Ledger says himself and Walker came to the ring to thank The Hardys for showing them what it takes to be a tag team, then says they wanted to ask The Hardys for advice. Walker asks them how to take things to the next level, and Jeff says Ledger and Walker should be going to the extreme by pushing themselves to their limits. Matt says Ledger and Walker have the same hunger in their eyes as himself and Jeff, then says The Hardys were willing to bet on themselves and make everything possible.
Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura's music hits, and they make their way out. Briggs and Inamura tell Ledger and Walker to stop kissing up to The Hardys, and Briggs tell Ledger and Walker that they're taking the TNA World Tag Team Championship shot that they want for themselves. Walker and Ledger then fly to level Inamura and Briggs on the outside with double tope suicidas, and the two teams brawl to the back.
Matt acknowledges Axiom and Nathan Frazer standing behind them, and the two teams voice their respect for one another ahead of their TNA World Tag Team Championship match next week.
– Jordynne Grace then makes her way down to the ring. Cora Jade follows, and we see Masha Slamovich in the crowd to watch the action.

The bell rings and the two lock up. They go back and forth with one another, but Grace sends Jade crashing into the top turnbuckle twice head first and runs her over with a shoulder tackle. Jade fires off knees on the side of Grace's head, then sends her crashing onto the apron.
Jade lands a dropkick on Grace through the middle rope, then pins her back in the ring. Grace kicks out, but Jade rains down right hands on her and sends her face bouncing off the mat. She lands a stomp on her using the ropes, but Grace shoves her into the corner. Medical officials check on Jade, and the referee calls off the match declaring Grace as the winner.
Winner: Jordynne Grace
– We get a split screen interview with Je'Von Evans and Ethan Page. Page says it took him almost 20yrs to get to where he is and Evans is like 20 years old. Page says he became unhinged due to jealousy but he would break Evans' jaw again if he could. And since there are no rules at Road Block he will do just that. Evans says he was sidelined for three months and he won't let people like Page hold him down like that again. They both start arguing with each other.
– Kale Dixon and Urian Connors then make their way down to the ring. Trick Williams follows.

The bell rings and Williams lands a knee strike on Dixon. He rains down right hands on Dixon, and the referee calls the match off.
Winner: Trick Williams (via knockout)
– After the match, Williams grabs a microphone and calls out Eddy Thorpe. Thorpe's music hits and he appears, challenging Williams to an "NXT" Underground match in two weeks. Williams accepts.
– Backstage, Roxanne Perez lays out Jordynne Grace with a chair and welcomes her to NXT.
– We see Moose at a press conference talking about his match against Oba Femi. Moose says he will leave Road Block with two titles because he will be the face of this franchise. Ava joins the press conference and says Roxanne Perez will take on Jordynne Grace. Fatal Influence comes by and Fallon Henley asks for her rematch and Ava walks off.
– Ricky Saints walks backstage and Ridge Holland walks up to him and says Saints doesn't impress him and tells him that he shouldn't be here. Saints tells him to get used to seeing him here and walks by Shawn Spears and his family. Spears tells Saints the revolution will be televised once he wins his match. The D'Angelo Family is also shown walking to the main event.
NXT North American Championship Match: Shawn Spears vs. Tony D'Angelo
The bell rings and D'Angelo fires off right hands on Spears. Spears runs over D'Angelo with a splash and rains down right hands on him, but D'Angelo fires off chops on Spears in the corner. D'Angelo connects with a clothesline on Spears and the pair teeter on the ropes, but Spears rakes D'Angelo's eye and delivers a kick to his face. D'Angelo fires off right hands once again on Spears as the teeter on the ropes, then lands a few more on his midsection and continues raining them down in the corner.
Spears trips D'Angelo on the ropes, then fires off stomps on him and grabs his chair from the outside. The referee convinces him not to use it, opening the door for D'Angelo to send Spears crashing back out of the ring over the top rope. Spears continues wearing down D'Angelo, then continues wearing him down with a Camel Clutch. D'Angelo responds with a spear to Spears, then dumps him back inside the ring and ascends to the top rope. He looks to fly, but D'Angelo lands a right hand on his midsection and connects with a suplelx on him.
Adriana Rizzo delivers a Thesz Press to Dame on the outside as Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino brawl with Vance and Jensen. In the midst of the chaos, Stacks accidentally sends D'Angelo crashing into Spears' chair on the outside off the apron spine first. Spears takes advantage and delivers the C4 to D'Angelo back in the ring, then goes for a pin but D'Angelo kicks out. D'Angelo looks to land a spinebuster on Spears, but Spears counters into a pinfall for the win.
Winner and NEW NXT North American Champion: Shawn Spears
– Shawn Spears and his Family stand in the ring after the match as Spears holds up the title. We get the card for Road Block so far as The Family celebrates in the ring as the show goes off the air.
