– The NXT Battleground pre-show kicks off. Your hosts are Megan Morant and Sam Roberts.

– They run through the card for tonight's show.

– We take a look at the Women's World Title Match with a video package.

– Kelly Kincaid sits down with Sol Ruca and Zaria. She asks how does Sol feel coming into the show as champion.

She says she is the Speed champion as well as the North American champion. She says last year was the perfect opportunity to show that she could come back from an injury. It was so sweet to win at Stand and Deliver with Zaria at her side.

Kelly asks about the moment when they were both at the top of the ladder at Stand and Deliver and how they are still friends.

Zaria says they had a bumpy start, but look at them now. They met at Deadline and tried to put each other down. Zaria says she was not here to make friends. She put a wall up until Sol stood up for her. Then they had a mutual respect for each other. Sol says they worked together in the locker room and she begged Zaria to hang out with her. Then she eventually cracked the code for Zaria.

Zaria says people are trying to put a wedge between them, but they are so strong. Sol says that whatever happens at Stand and Deliver, they will be fine. They are not going to cheat their way to victory and whatever happens happens.

Kelly asks about Heatwave and her match against Kelani Jordan. Sol says it is the only match she had with Kelani. She ended up losing the title and it hit Kelani hard. She says Kelani's new attitude is the reason. They are both different than that last match. Sol says Kelani thinks that Zaria and Sol need each other. They don't need each other to be successful. Kelani has never been a double champion, have a career threatening injury, or someone like Zaria by her side.

– We take a look at the six man tag match.

– Myles Borne sat down with Vic Joseph.

He asks Myles about the last few weeks. Myles brings up when he signed his contract he was going through a hard time. He says he didn't know if he was ready. NQCC brought him under their wing and he was ready. He was told to be ready for any opportunity. Myles says he was the most ready in the Battle Royal. The hard work shows and he says he is hitting his stride.

Vic asks about Myles discussing his disability. Myles says it felt right to open up after hearing them go crazy after winning the battle royal. He says he is hard of hearing but he heard the crowd and felt them. If they are accepting him, he wants them to know the real him. He says he wants to break stereotypes. He says he is not ashamed of who he is and he wouldn't change a thing. Myles says he wants to show everyone that nothing can hold you back. This title means so much to him. If he can so something like that, anyone can succeed.

Vic asks about the match and how will he be able to win the match and win the title. Myles says he has been defying the odds since day one. He has fought to survive since birth. He is going to fight to survive against Oba. Oba has him beaten in every category except for heart. He says he will shock the world. He gives credit to Tavion, Charlie, and Wren for their help. He says he couldn't have done it without them. Myles says he knows he is in for a fight and that is what he is looking forward to. Oba has to face him and Myles says he has the entire community behind him. That will carry him through the match. He says his high school coach told him the wolf climbing the hill is hungrier than the one at the top.

– We take a look at the D'Angelo and Lorenzo match with a video package.

– Blake Howard talked to Kelani Jordan.

He brings up last year's Battleground match. She says she felt like it was a fever dream, but now she realizes being the first champion was a huge responsibility and a way to show how good she is. No one believed in her last year. They underestimated her. Jordan says she believed in herself.

Blake asks about tonight's match. Kelani says her attitude has changed. There are no friends in this business. She says she had to trim the fat and focus on herself.

Blake asks about Sol. Kelani says she knows what Sol is thinking. Kelani brings up that she already beat Sol. Sol is the most athletic person not named Kelani Jordan. She says she knows what it feels like to win a title and lose a title. Sol will find out on Sunday.

– We take a look at the TNA championship match with a video package.

– The pre-show wraps up as we are sent live to the NXT Battleground PLE!

– We're welcomed to WWE Battleground and see the arrivals of most of tonight's competitors, with Vaquer and Hendry getting the best pops. We get a video promo for tonight's event, hyping the card, ahead of our first match.
