Angry WWE Friday Night Smackdown Live Coverage - June 13th, 2025

John Cena returns to SmackDown after his Raw confrontation with CM Punk

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena returns to SmackDown following his and Logan Paul’s tag team loss to Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at Money in the Bank and his Raw confrontation with CM Punk that resulted in an official title match being made for WWE Night of Champions.

    – Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore greet audiences at home as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

Cena says he takes up all four spots on the Mount Rushmore of great wrestlers, then says no one in the past, present, or future is comparable to him. He says the reason he will always outmaneuver everyone isn't because he will never give up, but because he's smarter. He says everyone wants to be him, then says he announced his retirement a year early so he can scout out his most worthy opponents. He says he knew he could use his seniority to earn a spot in the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber and knew exactly how his opponents would act in the match, as well Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Ron Killings.

Cena calls himself the Greatest Of All Time, then continues ragging on the fans for coming up fake stories about selling his soul. He says the match is always in his favor and he wins matches before competing in them, then says the math tells him that no one will ever come close to being as great of an Undisputed WWE Champion as he is.

Cody Rhodes' music hits, and he makes his way out. Rhodes says Cena isn't just smart, but he's a genius. He says it's unfortunate that everything Cena has said has come true, then says the one simple fact that Cena forgot to mention is that he was pinned at Money In The Bank. He asks Cena where that leaves him and Cena.

Randy Orton's music hits, and he makes his way out. He says anybody who saw him fight Cena at Backlash saw that he had Cena beaten for the Undisputed WWE Championship until somebody decided to come and save the day. He says he will do whatever it takes to get his 15th World Championship.

LA Knight's music hits, and he makes his way out. He says that the world is saying his name, then says he will drop whoever he has to to become the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Cena decides to leave the ring and head to the back, but Killings blindsides Cena from behind on the entrance ramp and rains down right hands on him. Security drags Killings to the back.

    – Cena is seen screaming at Nick Aldis backstage.

Sikoa and JC mateo appear on the Titan Tron, and Sikoa asks Fatu if he's done getting everything off his chest. He says a year ago when he came to Sacramento, California to see Fatu, he was nothing and was doing nothing until he brought him to WWE. He says he made Fatu a Superstar, allowed him to succeed, and made him a champion. He says he'll be in the ring next, and needs to hear four words from Fatu: "I love you Solo". He says he brought Fatu into WWE, but he will also take him out.
