Drew McIntyre addresses his heinous attack on Cody Rhodes

Last week, Drew McIntyre Claymore'd Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes right into the announce table, exploding the side of the table into splinters. This week, The Scottish Warrior will address his heinous actions. What will he say after his assault?

Solo Sikoa makes his way to the ring with Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo and they have something to say.

Solo tells Boston that they are here. He says they run Smackdown. To anybody who doesn't like it, too bad. He says last week, Sami Zayn came out here and tried to show up on Smackdown. They showed up on Raw and what happened? We stomped his ass out. Sami Zayn . . . stomped out. Jimmy Uso . . . stomped out. Jacob Fatu . . . stomped out. If there is anybody in the back . . .

Sami Zayn's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Sami gets on the apron and he tells them to take it down a notch. He says he is here to talk and he wants to know if he can talk.

Solo invites Sami into the ring and he says the floor is his.

Sami asks if they want to talk.

Solo tells them to back off and they go to the floor so Sami gets in the ring.

Sami says he has talked about becoming a World Champion. If he beat Rusev, he could have been fighting for the World Title at Clash in Paris, but that isn't happening. Sami says he was furious, but he felt something else. He says he felt liberated. He says he has been talking so much about becoming a champion now that he put so much pressure on himself and kept him from accomplishing anything else in WWE. Now he can go back to doing other things he set out to do.

Sami says this is him telling Solo 'thank you'. He says it made him realize there is so much in WWE he hasn't done yet. Beside the World Title, there is one other title he never held . . . The US Title.

Solo tells Sami he won't be holding that title any time soon. He can look at the title. You don't belong on Smackdown, you are on Raw so you will never get a chance at this title. He tells Sami to get out of here.

Sami tells Solo that is what he really came out here to say. He is officially a member of Smackdown. You took something from him and he is going to take something from Solo. He says he is coming for Solo's title.

Sami punches Solo and then Mateo and Loa attack Sami. Solo punches Sami and Talla joins in eventually.

Jimmy Uso's music plays nd he makes his way to the ring and he punches Loa and Mateo. Talla with a forearm to Jimmy.

Mateo punches Sami while Talla prepares for a choke slam.

That all stops when Jacob Fatu's music plays.

Tlla comes up the aisle and Fatu avoids him. Fatu with a take dwon o FSolo and Jimmy with a super kick to Talla followed by a boot from Sami. Jimmy with another super kick. Fatu with super kick to stopa a double choke slam. Talla is sent to the floor.

Nick Aldis comes out and he tells Solo that is no way to welcome the newest member to the roster. Nick says Sami will be in the main event tonight when Sami, Jimmy, and Fatu face three members of Solo's Squad.

Backstage:
Byron is with Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, and Piper Niven. Byron asks about Piper's match against Alexa Bliss and he asks how did we get here? Chelsea says we got here because she broke up a silly birthday celebration and she bravely took a funfetti cake to the face. Piper says it was disgusting and no one messes with their Canadian Hero and gets away with it. Alba says they will stop anyone who messes with Chelsea.


Alexa Bliss (w/ Charlotte Flair) vs. Piper Niven (w/ Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre)

Alexa gets the crowd to cheer for Lilly before anything happens and Piper attacks Alexa from behind when Alexa is too focused on her doll. Piper with forearms but Alexa with forearms. Piper with a chop and Piper tells Chelsea and Alba to go after Lilly but Flair makes the save. Piper goes for a Piper Driver but Alexa escapes and she kicks Piper in the leg. Alexa with a sleeper and Piper powers out of the hold and she snap mares Alexa. Piper with a slap and she pie faces Alexa. Piper chokes Alexa in the ropes. Alexa with forearms and Piper with a Black Hole Slam. Alexa with forearms and she goes ffor a cross body but Piper catches her.

Piper with a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Piper kicks Alexa in the back. Piper works on the neck. Alexa with punches and forearms but Piper with a forearm to stop Alexa. Piper takes off her jacket in a seductive way while Flair gets on the apron and distracts the referee. Piper sends Alexa into the turnbuckles. Piper with an Irish whip that sends Alexa face first into the turnbuckles and Piper with a splash. Piper struts and dances into the corner and she slaps Alexa. Piper sets or a cannonball but Alexa moves and Piper hits the turnbuckles. Alexa gets to her feet and so does Piper. Alexa with a kick and punches followed by a knee and drop kick.

Alexa with a series of senton splashes. Alexa with a third senton. Alexa with a blockbuster for a near fall. Piper with a head butt and Alexa falls into the comer. Piper with a cannonball and she goes to the turnbuckles for a Vader Bomb but she misses when Alexa moves. Alexa with a DDT and she goes up top for Twisted Bliss but Green gets on the apron and Flair pulls Green off the apron. Alba gets on the apron and Alexa punches Alba. Piper misses a splash and Alexa with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

After the match:
Alba attacks Alexa but Flair chops Alba, Piper, and Green. Piper with a shoulder tackle and a back senton to Flair. Green sends Flair into the ring post. Green sends Charlotte over the ringside barrier into the time keeper's area. Piper with a splash to Alexa. Alba with a Gory Bomb and Piper with a Vader Bomb.


Backstage:
Tiffany and Jade yell at each other in front of Nick. Nick says he appreciates what they are doing but he says they have a lot of channels to take. Nia Jax shows up and she tells Jade to fall back while she steps up to face Tiffy. Tiffany says the story may be different but the result will be the same. She tells Nia to bring it.


Miz and Carmelo Hayes vs. Nathan Frazer and Axiom

Hayes and Axiom start things off and Miz tags himself in. Miz sees Joe Gacy in the crowd (with a convenient spotlight). Axiom with a wrist lock and Miz with a reversal. Miz sees Dexter Lumis in another section with another convenient spotlight. Miz and Axiom with a test of strength and Axiom with a bridge and a monkey flip. Axiom floats over and Miz with a monkey flip. They both bridge and hold on to the wrist lock. Miz with a kick and double wrist lock. Axiom with a head scissors. Axiom with a shotei and Frazer tags in and hits a double sledge off the tunbuckles. Frazer avoids Miz and Frazer sets for a round kick but Miz stops. Miz tags in Hayes.

Frazer with arm drags to Hayes and Hayes avoids a third one. Frazer with an arm drag and arm bar. Frazer floats over and he kicks Hayes. Axiom tags in and they connects with forearms and a clothesline. Frazer with a DDT. Axiom and Frazer with kicks to Miz. Axiom with a suicide dive to Miz and Frazer with one to Hayes. Axiom with a suicide dive to Hayes and then Frazer with one to Miz. Axiom and Hayes return to the ring and Axiom gets a near fall. Axiom with forearms. Miz holds the ropes open and Axiom gets caught in the ropes. Hayes with a drop kick to Axiom and Miz tags in. Miz punches Axiom.

Miz with a boot to the head. Hayes tags in while Miz has Axiom in a reverse chin lock. Hayes with a back elbow and a leg drop for a near fall. Miz tags himself in and he hits an Awesome Clothesline. Miz with a seated splash to the back. Miz with a reverse chin lock and Axiom with elbow and a snap mare. Miz stops Axiom from making the tag and he runs Axiom into the corner. Hayes tags in and he stops Miz from connecting with shoulders. Hayes with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Hayes with a springboard clothesline and he gets a near fall. Hayes with a reverse chin lock. Hayes with a super kick and he goes for a power bomb but Axiom counters with a rana for a near fall. Hayes with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Axiom with a leg lariat to Hayes and both are down.

Miz and Frazer tag in and Frazer with chops and a flying forearm and sling blade. Frazer with a shooting star press for a near fall. Frazer goes up top for a Phoenix Splash but Miz moves and Frazer rolls through. Frazer with a victory roll for a near fall. Miz with a knee. Frazer with a snap mare to Miz and a kick to Hayes. Hayes goes for a springboard move but Frazer stops him and hits a Spanish Fly for a near fall. Axiom tags in and Hayes sends Frazer into Axiom. Hayes kicks Frazer and Axiom leaps over Hayes. Hayes with a kick but Axiom with a kick to Hayes on the turnbuckles. Frazer tags in and Axiom with Spanish Fly and Frazer with a Phoenix Splash but Miz breaks up the cover and hits a tornado DDT on Axiom.

Frazer puts Hayes on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex. Hayes with punches to stop Frazer and Frazer is pushed off the turnbuckles. Frazer with a kick and Miz stops Axiom from hitting a double team move and Miz hits a DDT on the apron on Axiom. Hayes counters a superplex into a super cutter. Hayes sets for Nothin but Net and Miz tags in and hits Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

Winners: MIz and Carmelo Hayes

After the match:
Miz hugs Hayes and Hayes does not want to hug MIz.


We take a look back at what happened to Cody Rhodes last week and Joe tells us there is no medical update.

Backstage:
We are back and Tiffany Stratton walks in the back. Kiana James stops Tiffany to talk to her about getting some back up to protect her. She suggests using Giulia. She says that she can be used to upgrade. A custom pink titlte belt. She offers Tiffany her card and Tiffany says she doesn't need back up. Kiana says if you are not with us, you are against us. You have never beaten anyone like Giulia and because she has a title, she doesn't need another one. Michin shows up and she tells Kiana that she has Giulia next. Kiana says she will take that under advisement.

In Ring:
Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring.

Drew looks around and he says people have been asking him why did you do what you did? Why did you Claymore Cody's head through the announce table? Drew says we need to see it again. Drew says to listen closely. He did not attack Cody Rhodes. Drew says your eyes are lyng to you and he will explain it. Drew asks Joe for the medical update since it has been a week.

Joe says there is no update.

Drew says maybe management is hiding it because of how severe it is. He says he does not hate Cody, he feels sorry for him. He needs that validation from you. He needs to know what management thinks of him. Drew says he was Cody five years ago. Then he evolved. When we retire, we are gone and you forget us and move on. You have to get yours while you can. He wants that title. He has been screwed so many times. He says he has earned it. He says he wants it for him and his family. He wants that big paycheck.

Cody needs that championship. Who is Cody without his story or title? That is why Cody did what he did last week.

Drew says he did not attack Cody last week. Cody attacked him. Do you remember? The AA happened and he broke up the cover. Cody knocked him to the floor. Drew says he was down on the floor when the DQ happened. When the match was over, Cody put his face into the ring post and then Cody cleaned off the table to put his arse through it. Drew says he defended himself. Why would he do that? Is it because he told Cody he would be the one to take the title from Cody. Cody is so good at pissing people off and Drew is so good at taking people out. If you provoke him, he will do very violent things. If you provoke him, he is the true nightmare.

Backstage:
Byron is in the back with The Street Profits and B-Fab. He asks if a win means they are in contention for a tag title match. Solo and his friends show up and he asks how many times do they need to go after the titles. After we are done with Jimmy, Jacob, and Sami, you will have to go through them. Angelo and Montez says they won't stop them from doing what they need to do. They are up and they want the smoke. Solo asks Talla if he is okay because he is staring at something and they walk away. We see Erik Rowan at the end of the hallway with his giant mallot.


Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa (w/ Candice LeRae) vs. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford (w/ B-Fab)

Ford and Ciampa start tings off and Ciamap with an elbow and Ford with a drop kick. Ciampa with a boot to the head and he chops Ford. Johnny tags in and Ciampa with a forearm and Gargano with knees. Ciampa with a running knee in the corner. Gargano kicks Ford in the corner. Ciampa tags in and Gargano misses a splash and Ford avoids Ciampa to tag in Dawkins. Angelo with forearms and a corkscrew back elbow. Dawkins with a face plant to Gargano and a twisting splash to Ciampa followed by a round kick. Dawkins goes to the floor and Candice makes the save to prevent the POUNCE. Ciampa with a knee and Gargano tags in and hits a thrust kick. Gargano punches Dawkins and kicks him in the chokes Dawkins in the ropes.

Ciampa tags in and he kicks Dawkins and punches him. Ciampa with kicks and punches. Ciampa mocks Ford and Dawkins with punches. Ciampa with a knee to the head. Gargano kicks Dawkins from the ropes. Gargano punches Dawkins and he mocks Ford. Gargano backs Dawkins into the corner and then Ciampa joins in to double team. Gargano chops Dawkins. Gargano is sent to the apron by Dawkins but Gargano with a forearm. Gargano kicks Ford off the apron and then he goes for the slingshot spear but Dawkins catches him and hits a twisting neck breaker. Ciampa and Ford tag in. Ford with a kick and he goes up top and hits a cross body. Ford punches Gargano off the apron. Ford with clotheslines and another clothesline. Gargano with a rollup and he misses a round kick. Ford with a Fameasser to Gargano and a Zig Zag to Ciampa.

Ford with a moonsault for a near fall. Dawkins tags in and Ciampa with a forearm to Ford but Dawkins tosses Ciampa to Ford for a German suplex. Dawkins gets a near fall. Ford kicks Gargano from the apron. Dawkins gets Ciampa on his shoulders and Ford tags in and Candice sends Fab into the ring steps. Ford avoids Ciampa and he misses an enzuigiri. Ciampa with a jumping knee and Gargano tags in. Gargano with a thrust kick and Ciampa with Fairy Tale Ending for a near fall. Gargano with a super kick to Dawkins. Ciampa almost kicks Gargano but Ford sends Ciampa to the floor. Ford with an uppercut to Gargano. The referee checks on Gargano and Candice with a head scissors to send Ford off the apron into Dawkins. Gargano with a DDT for a near fall.

Fab with a jumping knee to Candice. Dawkins pulls Gargano to the floor and Ford with a rollup for a near fall. Ford with a jumping knee and Dawkins with Sky High and Ford with a frog splash for the three count.

Hayes wants to know what does he need for a US Title match. Miz apologizes to Nick for barging in. Miz tells Hayes he has this. Miz says since Nick isn't busy (while Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are standing there.) Sabin asks if Hayes is HIM or HIS. Miz says Hayes will not be manipulated. Alex says they are not on their level. Nick says there is a solution to this while they argue. Nick makes the tag match official for next week.

Backstage:
Byron is with R Truth. Byron asks about John Cena's attitude adjustment. Truth says he feels good. Their childhood hero is back. Aleister Black shows up and asks why isn't Truth so happy about his other friend Damian Priest. WIth friends like Truth, who needs enemies. Black sys he will see Truth next week.

Backstage:
Sami, Jimmy, and Fatu are in LOCKER ROOM and Sami says it has been a while since they were in a tag team. Sami thianks Jacob for having his back. Jacob says he came out for his brother. He says he doesn't know Sami that well. Sami says Jimmy is his brother so he asks if they are cool. Fatu tells Sami to stay out of his way.

Next week, John Cena will be on Smackdown. R Truth faces Aleister Black. The Motor City Machine Guns will face Carmelo Hayes and Miz.

The referee deals with Loa and Talla with a boot. Solo sends Sami into the announce table. They return to the ring and Solo stops Sami from getting to his corner. Solo with a back elbow. Solo with punches and he chokes Sami in the ropes. Mateo tags in and he kicks Sami. Mateo with punches. Sami with punches and the exchange continues.Mateo with punches and a clothesline for a near fall.

Mateo with a moonsault and he sends Sami into the turnbuckles. Loa tags in and he punches Sami in the corner. Loa with a slam and leg drop for a near fall. Loa with a reverse chin lock. Sami with punches but Loa backs Sami into the corner. Solo tags in and he punches Sami. Solo with a head butt and he punches Sami. Sami with punches but Solo maintains the mount and he punches Sami. Mateo tags in and Solo with a head butt. Mateo with an Irish whip but Mateo misses an elbow when Sami moves. Solo tags in and he knocks Uso off the apron to prevent the tag. Solo sends Sami into the corner and he chops Sami. Solo puts Sami on the turnbuckles. Sami with punches and Sami hits a tornado DDT.

Fatu and Loa tag in and he clotheslines Loa a few times. Fatu with an uppercut. Loa with a kick and Fatu with a clothesline and back senton. Fatu with a splash into the corner and he head butts Loa. Fatu with a running hip into the corner and he buffers. Fatu clotheslines Mateo over the top rope. Uso with a plancha onto Mateo. Fatu with a pop up Samoan drop for a near fall. Fatu goes to the turnbuckles but Solo grabs the lag. Fatu kicks Solo away and Loa gets his knees up when Fatu goes for a swanton. Solo tags in and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Fatu with a thrust kick and Solo with a thrust kick. Both with a clothesline at the same time and both go down.

Fatu reluctantly makes the tag and Sami with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Mateo punches Sami and Uso with a super kick to Mateo. Loa with a punch to Uso. Fatu with a head butt to Loa and he super kicks Talla off the apron. Fatu with a suicide dive to Talla. Sami avoids the Samoan spike and Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami with a Helluva Kick for the three count.

Winners: Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Jacob Fatu

After the match:
Uso asked Fatu and Zayn to shake hands. Fatu put his hand out to shake and Zayn shook it with a big hug as all three then celebrated.
