AJ Styles challenges Dominik Mysterio for Intercontinental Title
Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio will defend his title against AJ Styles on Raw
– We are live from Paris, France and RAW kicks off with clips from Clash in Paris.
– We cut to CM Punk waiting in the parking lot. Adam Pearce comes by and tells him to wait inside. Punk tells Pearce he'll wait for Seth Rollins out here.
– AJ Styles, Kairi Sane & Asuka, Penta, and Jey Uso are all shown in the arena.
– Michael Cole and Wade Barrett greet audiences at home as Jey Uso makes his way to the ring.
Jey points out that he has some medical tape around his midsection after last night at Clash In Paris, then says he keeps wondering what would've happened if he had stayed out of Roman Reigns' business. He says if there's one thing to know about him, he doesn't mess around with his family. He warns everyone against talking about his family or putting his hands on then, then says Reigns is in the hospital and demands that The Vision come to the ring.
LA Knight's music instead hits, and he makes his way out. He says he wants to talk to the fans, then says he believed he would win last night and become the new World Heavyweight Champion but he's instead standing in the ring as a loser. He says while people may say Jey lives in his cousin's shadow, Seth Rollins lives in his wife's shadow. He says Jey spoiled the chance that himself, CM Punk, and Jey had to put Rollins through a table to put him away in their Fatal Four-Way Match last night. He says he's sick and tired of not being World Heavyweight Champion and warns Jey about getting in his way.
Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker then make their way to the ring, and Knight mocks Reed and Breakker for not having their babysitter. Breakker reminds Knight that he's beaten him twice now, then says the only thing everyone should be concerned with is that Reigns put Paul Heyman in the hospital. He says with Heyman in the hospital, no one is there to hold back himself or Reed and they're a couple of dogs off the leash.
Reed demands that Paris acknowledge their "Tribal Thief", then echoes Breakker's sentiments and says that Jey and Knight are next. Breakker then challenges Jey and Knight to a tag team match as Reed eggs them on, and Knight and Jey accept the challenge.
– We then head backstage, where IYO SKY apologizes to Kairi Sane and Asuka about last week. Asuka says it's okay, then tells her that Sane and her will take care of Judgment Day. SKY offers to help Asuka and Sane, and while Sane looks to accept, Asuka cuts her off and tells her that they don't want her help.
– Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez make their way to the ring. Asuka and Sane follow.
Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Kairi Sane and Asuka
Perez and Asuka begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Perez looks to run over Asuka with a shoulder tackle, but Asuka blocks it. Rodriguez then tags in, but Asuka looks to tangle her up in an Octopus submission. Rodriguez avoids it, but Sane tags in and fires off knees and a kick on Rodriguez as Asuka does the same.
Perez tags in and Sane pins her, but Perez kicks out. Sane delivers a Dragon Screw to Perez, then follows it up with a hurricanrana and tags in Rodriguez. Sane lands a Stunner on Rodriguez, but Perez tags in and Sane looks to land a crossbody off the middle rope. Perez and Rodriguez double team on Sane, and Perez sends Sane crashing into the barricade.
During the commercial break, Perez dumps Sane back into the ring and goes for a pin. Sane kicks out, but Rodriguez tags back in and wears down Sane with a submission hold.
Perez and Asuka tag back in, and Perez delivers a springboard moonsault to Asuka. She goes for a pin, but Sane breaks the fall. Asuka then cinches in the Asuka Lock on Perez, but Perez counters into a pinfall. Asuka kicks out, and Sane delivers the In-Sane Elbow off the ring post to Rpdriguez on the outside. Back in the ring, Perez sets up for Pop Rox on Asuka but Asuka avoids it and delivers a leg lariat to Perez. She cinches in the Asuka Lock on her, and Perez taps out.
Winners: Kairi Sane and Asuka
– Adam Pearce is backstage and talks about the vacant Women's Championship. He says a match between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer at Wrestlepalooza to determine who takes the vacant Women's Championship.
– CM Punk still waits in the parking lot for Seth Rollins.
– Finn Balor and JD McDonagh make their way to the ring. Dragon Lee follows.
Finn Balor (w/JD McDonagh) vs. Dragon Lee
The bell rings and the two lock up. Lee lands an arm drag on Balor out of the corner and trips him in the corner, then lands a kick on him from the apron and goes for a pin. Balor kicks out, then fires off a right hand on Lee's midsection and delivers a chop to his chest.
Lee connects with a hurricanrana on Balor and lands a dropkick on him that sends him crashing out of the ring, then flies over the top rope to level him on the outside and delivers a forearm to the back of his neck. He follows it up with a Hammer and Anvil elbow to his head. Lee catches Balor with a sit-out powerbomb before he looks to fly off the ropes. Balor moves out of the way and lands a shotgun dropkick on Lee that sends him crashing into the corner, then ascends to the top rope. Lee fights off Balor, but McDonagh hops up on the apron to distract him. Lee sends McDonagh crashing onto the floor with a hurricanrana and joins Balor back on the ropes, but Balor pulls him off and lands a Coup De Grace on him for the win.

– Iyo Sky walks backstage and Nikki Bella comes up to her and wishes her luck in her match against Stephanie Vaquer. Asuka and Kairi Sane come by and Asuka kicks Bella out and tells Sky that Bella isn't her friend. Asuka tells Sky she will be there to help Sky and Sky says she doesn't need help. Asuka reminds Sky that Sky lost at SummerSlam without her help. Asuka leaves and Sane tries to talk to Sky and Asuka yells at Sane to come with her.
– Finn Balor and JD McDonagh walk backstage. Dominik Mysterio stops them and tells them AJ Styles is still out for him. Adam Pearce stops by and tells Mysterio that Balor and McDonagh are banned from the ring for his match tonight.
– New Day and Grayson Waller then make their way to the ring. Penta and The War Raiders follow.
Penta and The War Raiders vs. New Day and Grayson Waller
Penta and Xavier Woods begin the action. The bell rings and Penta delivers a hurricanrana to Woods. He lands a kick on his midsection, but Kofi Kingston and Waller pull Woods out of the ring. Erik and Ivar fly off the apron to level New Day and Waller, and Penta flies off the ropes to level everyone on the outside.
Woods fires off stomps on Erik (who has tagged in) back inside the ring, then tags out to Kingston. Kingston wears down Erik with a submission hold, then rains down right hands and left hands on him. Penta and Woods tag back in, and Penta delivers a Bronco Buster style kick to Woods.
Kingston tags in and ascends to the top rope, then lands a Frog Splash on Erik's spine off the top rope and goes for a pin. The fall gets broken up, and everyone begins brawling with one another. Penta tags in, and Erik tosses Woods over to Ivar who flies off the ropes to level him. Penta then catches Woods with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.

– Cathy Kelley talks to Rhea Ripley backstage. She asks Ripley about the Iyo Sky -vs Stephanie Vaquer match at Wrestlepalooza. Ripley says she'll challenge whoever wins. Kelley asks Ripley about Asuka. Asuka comes in and gets in Ripley's face. Ripley tells Asuka to stop and asks why Asuka has an issue with her friendship with Sky. Asuka says Ripley and Sky aren't friends and tells Asuka to not test and push her. Asuka says she will push whoever she wants and tells Ripley that no one is ready for Asuka. Asuka leaves and Sane stays behind until Asuka yells at her to follow her.
– Backstage, Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez come up to Adam Pearce and Perez asks why she isn't the title match at Wrestlepalooza. Lyra Valkyria comes in and argues with Perez and Rodriguez. Pearce kicks Perez and Rodriguez out and then talks to Valkyria about Bayley and tells her she'll be back soon. Valkyria wants a match next week against Rodriguez or Perez.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles
Mysterio attacks Styles during the introductions. The ref separates the two and then checks on Styles. We get the bell and Mysterio starts punching at Styles in the corner. Mysterio kicks Styles and Styles drop kicks Mysterio who rolls out of the ring. Styles flies over the top rope and knocks down Mysterio and we cut to a commercial break.
Back to RAW, Mysterio slams his shoulder into Styles in the corner and then kicks him down to the mat. Mysterio and Styles are on the top rope and Mysterio punches Styles down and walks the ropes and hits a headscissor takedown on Styles. Styles is clotheslined down and Mysterio flips over the top rope and splashes Styles and covers him for a two count. Mysterio mocks Styles and punches and kicks him. Styles punches Mysterio and knocks him down and hits a sliding forearm on Mysterio. Styles hits a backbreaker and covers Mysterio for a two count. Styles goes for Styles Clash but Mysterio gets out of it and then kicks Styles who gets knocked to the apron. Mysterio hits a headscissors off the ropes onto Styles flipping him off the apron to the floor. Mysterio hits a baseball slide on Styles from the ring to the outside. Mysterio jumps off the apron and tries for a headscissor but Styles catches him and powerbombs him onto the announce desk and we cut to a break.
We're back and Styles sits Mysterio on the top turnbuckle. Mysterio comes off the top rope and hits a tornado DDT and both men are now laid out. Both Styles and Mysterio trade punches in the middle of the ring. Styles hit a neck breaker and covers Mysterio for a two count. Styles connects with a Gutbuster and covers Mysterio again who kicks out. Styles goes for Styles Clash but Mysterio counters to the Mullet-o-Matic and covers Styles for a near fall. Styles suplexes Mysterio into the turnbuckles and Mysterio kicks Styles a couple times. Mysterio throws Styles shoulder first into the corner and then hits a Michinoku Driver on Styles and covers for a two count. Mysterio hits Three Amigos and then hits a Frog Splash and covers for a near fall. Styles hits the Styles Clash and covers Mysterio who gets his boot on the ropes. Styles hits a Bloody Sunday BrainBuster and then goes to hit the Phenomenal Forearm but El Grande Americano pulls Styles down and headbutts him with a metal plate in his mask. Mysterio hits a frog splash and gets the win.

– Backstage, Jackie Redmond talks to LA Knight backstage and asks him if he and Jey Uso are good for their match. Knight says he doesn't know but he doesn't know how to stop or quit. He says either he and Uso fight together or die apart. Uso comes in and says they beat up his cousin so it's now his time to get them.
– Rhea Ripley and CM Punk are backstage and Ripley says she doesn't think Seth Rollins isn't coming. Adam Pearce approaches Punk and tells him that Rollins is already here and in the building. Punk says he'll go handle this.
– A video package for Rusev plays where he says he's here to destroy everyone.
– CM Punk's music then hits, and he makes his way to the ring having been informed by Adam Pearce that Seth Rollins is in the arena. He says WWE or "Raw" doesn't run on his show or timeline, then says he'll be in the ring until Rollins appears. Punk says he's not doing this with Lynch, but Lynch says this has everything to do with him because Punk isn't just affecting one person in his family.
Punk looks to leave, but Lynch stops him and says she's listened to Punk tell countless lies about Rollins. Punk says Rollins is a coward, but Lynch tells Punk that he's everything that Punk aspires to be. She says that Rollins is hot, jacked, and doesn't interrupt her, then says Punk loves the sound of his own voice and tells Punk that he needs to get out of The Vision's way. She says Punk doesn't fit The Vision.
Punk says what Lynch said sounded good, but The Vision is a little bit blurry. He says he understands the magnitude of him, then says Rollins is hiding behind Lynch and says Lynch is so much more than someone's wife.
Rollins emerges from the back and eggs Punk on. Punk looks to meet him on the ramp, but Lynch blocks his path and Rollins heads to the back. Lynch slaps Punk and tries to get him to clock her, but Punk holds it together. He tells Lynch that he'll make Rollins regret cashing in on him and Lynch putting her hands on him. Lynch says she always regrets putting her hands on Punk because of all the sweat, then eggs him on all the way to the back.
Punk walks backstage and Adam Pearce comes by and Punk is pissed and asks where Seth Rollins is. Punk asks where SmackDown is this week and Pearce tells him it's in Chicago and Punk says that's perfect.
– Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed then make their way to the ring. Jey Uso and LA Knight follow.
Jey Uso and LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
Reed and Jey begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Jey fires off right hands on Reed, then tags in Knight. Knight and Jey rock Reed with right hands, but Knight fires off stomps on Breakker in the corner of the ring and tags in Jey.
Breakker wears down Jey with a waist lock, but Knight tags in and delivers an elbow drop to Reed's chest before Breakker tags back in and delivers a gut wrench suplex to Knight. He follows it up with a second suplex, then wears down Knight with a submission hold.
Jey tags in and lands a spear on Breakker, then manages to clothesline Reed over the top rope and onto the outside with Knight's help. Jey ascends to the top rope, then lands a Frog Splash on Reed. Breakker then surprises Jey with a spear for the win.
Winners: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
– After the match, Breakker and Reed continue beating down Jey in the middle of the ring. Reed ascends to the top rope, but Knight sends him crashing off it. Breakker catches Knight with a spear, and Reed sends him crashing over the announce desk. Breakker and Reed continue beating down Jey, but Jimmy Uso runs down to the ring with a chair in hand to come to his twin brother's aid. He checks on Jey in the center of the ring as the show goes off the air.
