    Default TNA Impact Report/Results - Sep 25, 2025

    Taped in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Matt Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan on commentary..

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater & Cedric Alexander vs. The Rascals

Myron Reed, set to challenge for the X-Division Championship at Victory Road tomorrow night, joined on commentary. The action kicked off with Miguel and Alexander trading chops, before Alexander leveled Miguel with a seated dropkick to the back of the head. Miguel spent much of the early going isolated in his opponents’ corner, enduring repeated double-team offense. Wentz eventually tagged in, attempted a pop-in lung blower, but Slater countered with a sharp head kick and followed with a crossbody for a near fall. Momentum swung when Wentz connected with a handspring knee strike, allowing Miguel to re-enter and nearly score a pin off a double-team. Alexander later stormed in, dropping Wentz with a release German suplex. Though Wentz countered the Lumbar Check, Alexander planted him with a Michinoku Driver for a close two-count. Slater tagged back in but ran into a knee strike from Wentz, setting up a crucifix driver assisted by a Miguel superkick for another near fall. The pace quickened with chaos spilling to the floor—Wentz and Alexander tumbled over the top rope, and Slater followed with a dive onto Wentz. Back inside, Miguel nailed Slater with a knee, while Wentz connected with a Swanton, yet only managed a two-count. The Rascals attempted another double-team, but Alexander broke it up and hit a series of suplexes. Slater hit Miguel with a Swanton splash for the pin.

Winners: Leon Slater & Cedric Alexander

    Backstage:
Gia Miller interviewed Frankie Kazarian backstage. He promised to make something out of Jake Something when they team tonight.

They recapped the TNA invasion this past Tuesday on WWE NXT.

    Earlier today:
Eric Young approached Santino Marella seeking a match with Joe Hendry at Victory Road, which Santino made.

    Victoria Crawford vs. Jody Threat

Threat showcased her power, tossing Crawford with a Northern Lights suplex. Threat was in control with chops and took Crawford down with a back elbow. She then booted Crawford into the ropes, causing Crawford to crash to the outside. Threat nailed a German suplex, but before she could follow up, Tessa Blanchard’s entrance music hit. That distraction allowed Crawford to capitalize. She caught Threat with her axe kick for the pinfall.

    Winner: Victoria Crawford!

    Video Package:
Joe Hendry gave a bit of backstory for his match with Eric Young tomorrow night at Victory Road.

    Backstage:
The System challenged Order 4 to leave both their factions in the back during tomorrow night’s Moose v. Mustafa Ali encounter.

Battle Royal to become #20 in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory PPV

The winner will be #20 in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory. The last person eliminated will be the first person in the gauntlet. AJ Francis delivered some mic work on his way to the ring, taunting his opponents. His night didn’t last long, as Rosemary sprayed him with mist and the rest of the field quickly tossed him out. Soon after, both Rosemary and Killer Kelly were eliminated. Ryan Nemeth went through the ropes and eliminated Matt Cardona, Xia Brookside, and Home Town Man from the floor. Lei Yǐng Lee took him out. That left her and Mance Warner. Warner blasted Lee with a big boot to score the win.

    Winner:Mance Warner

    Video Package:
They recapped Mickie James and The Beautiful People becoming the new inductees into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory.

    Video Package:
They aired an excellent video package on Mike Santana's Road to Bound for Glory. Santana writes on a chalkboard: “Never given, always earned.” A voiceover declares that his success will never be handed to him; it will be forged by his own hands, rooted in the strength of his father and the blood that runs through his veins. We hear a recording of Santana’s father, proudly expressing how much his son means to him. The voiceover continues, saying that success is the sound of the final trumpet, not marking an end, but heralding the beginning of who Santana truly is. Finally, a recording of Santana’s daughter’s voice is heard. Excellent piece of business, as the saying goes.

    In-Ring:
Santino Marella introduced The Hardys and Team 3D, and the crowd immediately erupted with “This is awesome!” chants. Matt Hardy praised both teams, calling The Hardys and Team 3D the greatest tag teams of all time. Bully Ray added that TNA was a “hot company” thanks to the Hardys. The two teams reminisced about their violent history together, joking about how somehow Jeff Hardy was still alive after all those matches. The Hardys offered Team 3D a shot at the TNA Tag Team Championships. The idea was a win would make the former Dudley Boyz 25-time tag champions, surpassing everyone else. They agreed the winners could rightfully call themselves the “greatest tag team of all time.” Bully and D-Von stepped aside to discuss but turned it down. Bully Ray brings up that The Hardys beat them in “the first ever tag team tables match,” which was “their match.” The Dudleys don’t just want a title match, they want a tables match. The Hardys agreed to the stipulation. Marella wanted both sides to sign a contract but D-Von ripped up the contract. Instead both teams agreed with a handshake.

    Backstage:
Mustafa Ali agreed to Moose’s challenge to leave everyone else in the back. The winner of their match gets the advantage in the Bound for Glory Hardcore War. The two sides faced off and stared the other down.

TNA International Champion Steve Maclin & Mr. Anderson vs. Frankie Kazarian & Jake Something

The match kicked off with Maclin squaring off against Something, controlling the action. Kazarian tagged in, and the Minneapolis crowd chanted for Anderson. Anderson entered and took control of Kazarian. Anderson and Maclin worked Kazarian over until he raked Anderson’s face. Kazarian and Jake took control. Kazarian nailed a jumping leg drop and a snap suplex, scoring two counts. Using distraction tactics, Something and Kazarian maintained their offense. Kazarian cinched in a chinlock on Anderson. Anderson finally tagged out, unleashing Maclin on Something. Maclin rattled Kazarian with a running knee and a German suplex. He tied Something to the tree of woe, but Jake avoided his charge. Kazarian went for a Crossface Chicken Wing, but Anderson countered with the Green Bay Plunge for a close two-count. Kazarian escaped a Mic Check. Kazarian went for Fade to Black, but Anderson slipped out and finally hit the Mic Check. Jake broke it up before the referee could count three. Anderson was double-teamed. Maclin tagged in. Anderson dropped Something with the Mic Check. Maclin nailed Kazarian with the KIA for the pin.

Winners: Steve Maclin and Mr. Anderson
