WWE confirmed on the December 29 episode of Raw that Dominik Mysterio is out of action indefinitely due to a shoulder injury.

Commentator Joe Tessitore made the announcement during the broadcast, noting that no return timeline has been set for the reigning Intercontinental Champion. Earlier in the show, Liv Morgan referenced Dominik’s absence during a backstage segment, stating that “Daddy Dom” would be out “for a little bit.”

The injury occurred on December 20 at AAA’s Guerra de Titanes event in Guadalajara, Mexico. Dominik teamed with El Grande Americano against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix in the main event, where he took a DDT from his father that left him visibly struggling to use his arm. Despite the injury, he finished the match, which ended with Rey pinning his son.

Dominik currently holds both the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the AAA Mega Championship. As of Raw, WWE has not announced any plans for the Intercontinental Title despite confirming his indefinite status.
