Chris Jericho will not appear on tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite.
Jericho returned to AEW television on the April 1 episode of Dynamite, ending months of speculation about his future with the promotion. Since his return, he has been locked in a rivalry with Ricochet and The Demand.
In his first match back after nearly a year away, Jericho faced Ricochet at the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view but came up short. Following that loss, he joined forces with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate to battle The Demand as a team.
Now, PWInsider has reported that the veteran is currently in New York City filming a TV project. No additional details about the project have been disclosed at this time. Jericho's absence comes as he remains involved in an ongoing feud with Ricochet and The Demand.
This past Saturday on Collision, Jericho teamed with Lashley and Benjamin to face Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun in a trios match. Ricochet once again got the better of Jericho, winning the match after delivering a low blow followed by a Ricosault.
Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite will take place from EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia.
