Big Cass is officially back in WWE. After weeks of rumors and mysterious teases, he made his return during the August 3 episode of RAW. Cass wasted no time making an impact, attacking Je’Von Evans right after Evans defeated Ethan Page.
The return marked Cass’ first WWE appearance since the company released him in June 2018. After eight years away, he is back, and he already seems to have a target in mind.
Je’Von Evans kicked off the night with a singles match against Ethan Page. The two had a fast-paced match, with Evans using his speed and athleticism to deal with Page’s tricks and experience.
Page tried several times to slow Evans down and worked over his back. He also tried to use the ropes and turnbuckle to gain an advantage, but Evans came back every time. After several counters and close pinfall attempts, Evans hit the OG Cutter and picked up the win.
However, his celebration did not last very long. After the match, Big Cass suddenly appeared and attacked Evans.
Cass hit him with a big boot before following it up with a clothesline. He then grabbed Evans and locked him in a powerful bear hug and tossed Evans around before hitting him with the East River Crossing.
The attack sent a clear message. Je’Von Evans appears to be the first person standing in Cass’ way since his return.
